I dont think the relationship is made up. I think its a demonstration of what had already been said about John 'he gets bored of girls easily' 'cuts old girlfriends out' and clearly is quite confused over what real love is.

in many ways I think John was too immature for a relationship with Josie who is clearly looking to find someone to settle with. I think in his head he is more like a 20 year still having fun.

Surely the DJ-ing would just be in nightclubs or personal bookings though? So I don't think it would be in the spotlight as such - just as his career. But if he did further mag interviews or tv appearances or other things in the media then I guess that would be to keep himself in the spotlight. I don't know what he really wants - but I hope he finds it. I wish him luck, success with his career and happiness. Same for Josie

As you know i've always been more of a John supporter ,but if you want my Honest opinion .He's always wanted Fame ,just like he said in his VT ,I think the trouble was he wanted Fame on his terms ,if you see what i mean and doing a reality show was to much intrusion for his liking

As for watching the wheels tweet ,i think that was him making out he wasn't bothered about being back in Australia and not having Fame ,when he was really Hence him wanting to stay in England when the Split 1st occurred until Josie put a block on that idea

Completely agree Cheeky. I see DJing as more of a career but was just saying that I can understand how people may think he is still keeping himself in the public eye. I'd like to say I don't think he will be doing any more media work, but then he did the interview so who knows. If that's the path he wants to go down then good luck to him but I can see him just sticking to the DJing.

I love John, but I wouldn't say he's been dignified since the split. He's done his fair share of cryptic tweets etc.

Yes rebound is the the word i was looking for. I do believe that John is still hurt by the situation, because for him he fell in love with a girl inn BB who ulitmatly isn't the gril he knows her for now. He fell in love with Joise Gibson stripped back to her bare personality, the girl who we all love with her for. He was in his comfort in there not having to face to the world or go out. But realisticly life isn't like that, Josie wanted to go out and experience life and take every oppertunity possible, who could blame her so would i.
When faced with the real world they realised they both had to make compromises for them to work, they tried and failed, as neither of them wanted to back down.
I think John came to realise that he wasn't in love with her like he should be, and became plagued with guilt, but tried hard to make them work, but I feel Josie made it hard for him, as she sensed his distances and started to feel insecure.
Her insecurity escalated to the point where John could't get 'in' any more, and his efforts became a chore. So he gave up, as he didn't want to continue rowing and hurting so he returned home .
He perhaps met this new girl who maybe resembles BB josie and feels he has fell in love. But really he knows he will never be able to replace the girl he fell in love with in the summer of 2010 but he also knows he can't get her back becuase she dosent exsists in the real world.
I am not saying Joise has changed, becuase i dont' think she has, She lived to summer romance without having to deal with the real world, i don't think Joise i capable of changing who she is and i don't think John is either.
At the end of the day they are both gutted it hasn't worked, even John in the interview today said they both desparatly wanted to get back to how they were and wants to be friends.

As for his reasons for doing an interview when he said he wouldn't can also be because he wanted to put his side of the story across ,before he tried to Kick start his Career

To be honest and this is not a dig i dont think they are hip enough to DJ maybe under 18 is their level. PA 's yes but there is always new meat on the market ala TOWIE, next BB . Maybe modelling because he is great looking but unless he really wants it I dont think there will be much interest in him. I think he will return to OZ and his loys heseems happiest there

If we are not reading lies now we must have read them in the past.

If things were not right at after Christmas - what was that fabulous magazine shoot all about - and don't forget we saw the video for that one - I've never seen two people look more happy in my life.

John says believe what you want to beleive - I honestly don't know what I believe anymore - I thought I could read people well. I obviously can't.

In my honest opinion - I still do not know what's going on with these two. There have been contradictions from both of them - you wonder if that's because they don't know how to play it? Sometimes I'm more convinced than ever that this split was to enhance their separate careers after advice from management. Maybe they had decided they didn't want to be together and received this advice, or maybe it all went wrong from that point.

How long can they go on to programmes and talk about the BB experience or the car park scene, or how happy/frustrated they are in their relationship.

Are they having a 3 month break to accelerate their careers?

It is a word I don't like either but with the younger generation it seems to be the norm. I am 71 if I said damn it I was told off & given a clip round the ear. Re. the article, he doesn't slag Josie off, says things weren't working out and that they broke up. He does say that Josie kept insisting it was a break when it was a split, so they are conflicted on that one.

Re. the g/f and is he in love - we have always said that articles aren't always accurate with regard to Josie, so now we have to give John the same courtesy and say that perhaps this isn't accurate, although I also think that John doesn't know yet what being in love really is. You often don't until you've been heart-broken. I think their relationship was obviously in deterioration mode during the show last night, and eventually after trying to work it out (both of them) one of them called it quits. It could have been John or Josie, it just happened to be John.


Perhaps that was in relation to all the JJJ loved-up articles, the photo shoots, the fakeness of the whole industry, lack of control - there is no photo shoot with this article John has done. John has no agent, he's in control of what he does, perhaps he prefers it that way.

JOsie also maintained she wouldn't do an interview re. an ex (the abortion article) and did that, so I guess they have both gone back on what they said. Although I do maintain that John, after seeing weeks of cr*p on twitter, could just have decided that he'd best just get it out there and say what was what, you can't blame him for that - it would have been better if this article had come out a week ago, the last week on twitter wouldn't have happened, although I'm sure the twitter madness is by no means over.


I don't think John is going to be 'in the spotlight'. He always said he wanted to live in the UK, and it sounds like that is what he is going to do. His Mum is here with him, so perhaps there is something to the idea of her moving here too, although that would be a hard move for her, giving up her life in Oz.

I don't think he knows what he wants either, but I think he wants to control what he does this time, and he knows more about how all of the PR works now, so in that respect he'll be more savvy.

right, i've decided. i'm staying here. i love this place and its where i lived all the lovely jjj memories i have from last summer, plus i wouldnt give the court thread the satisfaction of thinking this thread has an ending. jjj relationship was real and i'll stand by that.
