For those with USB enabled PVR's. Lets assume you transfer a programme to a USB stick or external hard drive you will more than likely end up with .ts files.

There is a handy free programme
http://www.tsconverter.org/
that converts these files to one of many formats that may make watching them easier or to a format ready to convert for your phone/iPod or to DVD format and it converts very quickly.
