It looks like him and as though he's waited on the other side of that door........................... a long time . Poor Rory. Always seems to get the fuzzy end of the lollipop.

Can't say for certain - the makeup does a good job of hiding the features (especially the false nose) but the clothes seem to match what Rory is wearing in the early art of the trailer and that bit of chin you can see looks to be the "right" shape.and angle.

Assuming it is Arthur, the make-up department have done a cracking job.

Yep - I was going more by the clothes to be honest too. Good make up job if it IS him though.

Can't wait to see what it's all about and why he's playing the waiting game again.

I can't help but look at that and think:

I embarrassed to admit this but I overlaid photo's of Matt, Arthur - even Karen (you never know) - in Photoshop to see if they lined up. Unfortunately the "old man" is in so much shadow and there's a lot of padding around the eyes and brow that it's not a definite "Gotcha" but it's at least very much like Arthur (plus the hands are not Matt's - he has long, boney fingers)

My first thought was that it could be someone from further back in Doctor Who history - maybe even a previous Doctor.

Okay, I wanted it to be Eccles before he "got over" the time war and met Rose - a junk, yard, Tardis needs parts/repairs etc - all the makings of an interesting story and could fit with the series thread - but there's no way the BEEB wouldn't publicise it as it would drag in a hell of a lot of viewers.

Bottom line - if it's not one of the main cast, it's a rather pointless picture for the BEEB to release.

I did think, however, that we're lucky this forum is British. If this was an American forum and someone posted that picture and said "Who's this?", the first ten replies would all have said "Your momma!".
