I thought so as well. How do you manage to break 3 juicers. Why didnt they 'force' their PM to be more open with them. Why didnt the girls spend all the money. The boys were also late and missed the morning trade. Why go for pasta if you can make more with fruit, or do they have to have two products.

The candidates have been chosen as eye candy and giggle fodder, that is all.

It's too early to write them off as useless and clueless yet. They're still feeling their way. And there's not much eye candy there either!

Disagree, lots of eye candy on both teams, especially relative to the pickings on a typical high street.

This "bias" has been talked about in the media. One theory is that it results from the series one where the first four candidates fired were women (or five out of the first six), from a "PC conscious" organization the BBC is, this was an "uncomfortable" event.
I know this will be interpreted as a "PC gone mad" post, but it isn't. It is a simple observation that this event would not have gone unnoticed and questions could have been asked if the "recruitment" process produced a better "calibre" of males. I suspect the disproportionate amount of men already in a "business" environment , would lead to a LOT more males applying than women. Hence if the BBC did choose the “best" candidates there would be a fare greater choice amongst the men than women. |

I think they are too arrogant.
I think perhaps confidence is important in business, maybe even some arrogance, but the level of arrogance from the boys in recent years has just been unbearable, and they are rarely ever able to back it up. It just clouds all their judgements because they aren't able to see things rationally with such high levels of tosserness. |

The editing makes them look incompetant so the girls can triumph in the opener as per usual. It's so predictable its boring, Lord Sugar doing his bit for girl power.
Logic actually rang in a profit, they didnt finish too far behind the girls, lest we forget that the girls Vegetable concoction made only THIRTY SEVEN pounds - that's pathetic. I wish they'd mix up the teams from week one, I've never understood the need for boys v girls, its so primitive and lame. |

![]() I find the boys more interesting than the girls this series. However last series I really didn't take to the boys at all, I found it very hard to warm to any of them throughout the whole process. |

one word 'Testosterone'
the male need to find the pecker sorry the pecking order seems to me they would be better cutting to the chase and get the ruler out the women are slower in sorting out their pecking order. |

Are the male candidates so bad? I wouldn't have said so. Edward was a very poor PM, but other than him they don't look that much weaker.

The women are a lot more subtle, though Melody and Edna appear to have become the de facto leaders very early on, not just by dint of being PMs, but the way most of the team already seem to be deferring to them (though I concede this might just be the way it's been edited.) |
