I like that the PM picks who comes back in. It shows whether or not they are able to spot the weak links or if they are snakes who bring people in tactically. It's not just the task that reveal things about the candidates but also how they react when they lose.

I never thought the boys were ahead. They evidently had no plan, no idea of quantities or prices. They missed the breakfast session because they were so slow at squeezing. It was a shambles. The girls ran out of product, but that showed they sold everything they produced. They had a bit of a wobble later on, but for them to lose would have been a surprise.
Same this week. The girls had the better idea, it had global appeal, and they won the web site that mattered. It was obvious they would win. (Who would be fired was less obvious.) I thought the edit clearly put the boys ahead tonight, again and by a long way. It was quite obvious to me that the edit was favouring the boys. I'll have to agree to differ with you- and of course, it's easy to say things in hindsight. |

With the first task it's what I thought at the time. With the second, it's harder for me to be sure because I'd seen the spoiler about Alex. I have been watching The Apprentice since it started, so maybe I pick up on which details are significant.

All I saw the girls do was make an app of annoying animal noises and fail in most of their pitches. Then there were edits of the boys looking happy and delivering good pitches, while the girls looked disheveled and defeated. You realise, if this editing continues, I’ll be able to predict the winner every week, simply on who does the worst in the edit

Well I think the edit favoured the boys massively! It was really quite blatant to me.

I know enough about apps to know that kind of thing can do well. And it was global. Quote:

But the girls won the most important pitch. What happened at the show was irrelevant, because there were only 50 people in the room, and they were aiming for thousands of downloads. Like I say, you have to pay attention to the details that matter.
