Sky has picked up the rights to seasons 1 and 2 of the award-winning The Affair. Season 1 will premiere on Sky Atlantic in May. Can't wait to watch this.
I'm surprised it's took them this long to pick it up.Award winning and very well made, right up Sky Atlantic's alley

It would have been a good show for BBC3 as a companion for the Zombie show, and they could have also shown 'Warm Bodies' too.
Presumably you're aware BBC Three had to cancel that show because they don't have any money, so a big US TV show is out. (Hopefully, they'll keep Orphan Black or transfer it to BBC Two though)

The word going around is we should be hearing of a confirmation that Season 6 will be the final season of Downton Abbey.

They cancelled the award winning 'In the Flesh' but replaced it with a zombie reality show 'I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse' which is dire.

Yes obviously I meant if BBC3 had survived.

Replace "dire" with "cheap" and you have the exact reason for it's commission.

I've heard vague murmurings about legal action from the writer of My Life as a White Trash Zombie, but there's nothing online about it, so it's probably just somebody saying the two are similar.

If it is true, Warner Bros. might wait before selling the rights...
They have no case. The iZombie TV show is based on a comic book.

BBC has lost the rights to Family Guy. They will retain repeat rights to the show’s first 13 seasons until 2017.

So ITV2 has picked up exclusive first-run rights and will air the newest season 14 this Autumn, plus having the rights to all of Seth MacFarlane’s animated series.

This deal also includes first run UK rights to new animated series Bordertown, the first 4 seasons of The Cleveland Show and FTA rights to American Dad.

I believe the comic book is also subject to the same murmurings, since both are made by DC/Warner Bros. it wouldn't be too difficult to serve them all at the same time.

The Izombie comic book was first published in 2010 a year before the first book in the white trash zombie series was published. As as been previously stated Diana Rowland has no case. As there have been no official statement it is most likely a fanboy/girl has made the allegations of plagiarism and possible law suits tottaly unaware that the TV show is based on a comic book that predates Diana Rowlands novels.

Gracepoint has been cancelled already in the US after doing terribly over there. I wonder if it will follow suit (bad ratings) here.

ITV have already moved it from its planned slot on ITV to a slot on ITV Encore, so i think they've set their expectations.

Encore is very appropriate in this case given the good version has already aired

Fair enough. I didn't know the dates of either, and the murmurings seemed odd to me so thanks for that information.

According to their Twitter feed SPIKE UK will be airing Syfy's Olympus.

Looks a bit crap, but it's nice to see Viacom are actually acquiring new content for the channel.

HBO has cancelled 'Looking'. It's getting a special episode to wrap things up.

There is no chance it will be cancelled it is still getting great audience numbers in the US and in high demand around the world. It makes CBS the U.S. network a lot of money in advertising due to the number of young adults that watch and selling it around the world.
