I had that experience with the awful casting of Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher!!!
Worst casting ever! You couldn't get anyone less like Reacher.

It's normally May, but sometimes you get a few renewals in April

Forever has no chance. Stalker could go either way. While the rest are almost sure to be safe.
CBS the past 3 years have done most of the renewals in March so its not out the question they could announce some any time between now and May, I thought when they did the comedies a few weeks back that was the beginning but nothing else came.

I'd put Stalker down as very unlikely to be renewed though, it had its episode order cut, isn't CBS owned and was the only new show not renewed when they did the other 3 new shows a few months back and I don't believe CBS have even scheduled the remaining eps that have to air yet, Don't think they have any plans to bring it back next season.

Blue Bloods, NCIS:Los Angeles and Elementary are all locks I agree and Hawaii 5-0 Is on the fence IMO, I think they will find a place for it in the end tho.

Forever sadly looks like it will be one and done but would love for it to somehow get a second season, Love that show

Bloodlines renewed by Netflix

The Americans renewed for a fourth season by FX

New Girl Officially renewed by Fox for a fourth season. I say officially because the cast pretty much confirmed on instagram about 2/3 weeks ago that they were already shooting season 5

Season 2 of Chicago PD will premiere on 5USA on Wed 8th April at 9pm.

The final season 4 of Treme will premiere on Sky Atlantic on Thur 9th April at 11pm.

The debut season of Madam Secretary starring Tea Leoni will premiere on Sky Living on Thur 23rd April at 9pm.

Finally, the drama Billions on Showtime has been picked up to series with a 12 episode order. Set in the world of high finance starring Damien Lewis, Paul Giamatti, Malin Akerman and Maggie Siff. Premiere 2016.
Madam Secretary is great, Tea Leoni is brilliant in it and theres a great sub plot. Anyone know if it has been picked for a second season ?

Thanks my other favs include Mom and Gangland Undercover. I think Hart of dixe just finished as well didn't it? as all the loose ends seemed tied up and everyone happy in the season finale I just watched.

Yes Hart of dixie has finished. No news on a cancellation but it's likely going to be

Mom was renewed last month for a third season, while Gangland Undercover is a one off series anyway. If that helps.

I agree about NCIS:LA (it's a fairly consistent, solid performer - apart from a blip when it went up against The Blackllist, plus it makes CBS a lot of money internationally and in syndication) and Elementary (despite low-ish ratings, it needs a 4th season to make CBS money in syndication).
And I hope you're right about Blue Bloods and Hawaii Five O. My concern is that CBS might want to move Elementary to Friday night, which will mean the end for one of them, probably Hawaii Five O. But like I said, I hope I'm wrong.

I totally agree. It is just so good natured and yet intriguing and different from all the cloned cop shows.

Reminds me of Now and Again that had the same kind of vibe and the channel stuck by it desperately trying to make it work because they believed in it and felt the show was a gem that deserved to survive. But it just could not attract the audience and went well before its time.

If Forever were a BBC show the channel could nurture it and would give it a series 2 in the hope that it would grow.

But US channels do not have that luxury, sadly. Ratings are everything.

I do not see how it can possibly survive (unless it sells remarkably well abroad and can do some co production deal).

Pity as I am baffled why it just has not found an audience. It is easily one of the best of the new 2014/15 series.

Perhaps UK viewers just warm to its quirkiness more than Americans?

Having seen the first episode of 'Weird Loners' I can't see it making it to the end of Season 1, let alone being renewed.

It is one of my fave shows but I feel the main story arc is what is letting the show down.

They are not giving enough of it to keep people watching.

A lot of the 'Case of the Week' stories are too weak on their own and need the main storyline to keep them going.

I love Forever and hope against hope it us renewed.

It probably won't be as it is too similiar to Elementary.

In what seems to be a show that won't seem to die, Unforgettable has been picked up by A&E as Sony did a deal that it affordable for them.

There does seem to be a trend of cancelled shows being picked up but I hope fans of shows that do get cancelled realise these are the exceptions, a show with truly awful ratings isn't going to be renewed unless it's in special circumstances.

Yay.

Glad to hear this news.

Chicago PD?
The Blacklist
and theres another one begins with B, Bhaustrom or something like that a cop.

Sure

No word on Laura.
Chicago PD and Blacklist are renewed

and the other show you are talking about is called Backstrom. That hasn't been renewed but it's done bad in the ratings so a cancellation is very likely.

Aside from that. Elementary is a cop show, Forever has a supernatural element.

Even Sherlock had that with his death at the falls, and then coming back from the 'dead'
