The Americans Dropped by ITV old news i know But anyone heard of a UK broadcaster thats picked up season 3 of this show or not??? I was kinda hoping since it's made by FOX it'll turn up on FX:UK ASP
Do ITV ever pickup any US shows for their entire run, they always seem to drop them after 2 or 3 seasons?

Oh that's a shame. I haven't seen all of the series yet, but liked Victoria Justice. I think it was too dark to be honest though.

It seems CSI is not likely to be renewed. The future of CSI Cyber is in the balance. Who can imagine a world without CSI? Everything comes to an end, I suppose.

Good ratings... I would end on a high by finishing it this season but suspect it will return for another season after this one
I can't see it being renewed. It's ratings decline more and more each season. A recent episode earned a 0.8.
Re The Following, there are only so many times you can see the FBI allow someone to escape.
It wrapped filming a couple of weeks ago. I have a feeling it will be cancelled, but I think this season has rebooted the show and I'm still invested in the characters.

That's the problem, it is a reboot. Just more of the same but with another character.

Whilst I like Michael Ealy and his character on the show, he hasn't moved the premise on much from last season.

I still feel there isn't a point to the show, other than to show gratuitous violence for the sake of it.

I like that there is more of a focus on the private lives of Mike, Max and Ryan though. I think that's what it lacked in the first season.

I seem to remember reading some time ago that it was only planned for 3 series. Cant remember where I read it though

I'd hope that CSI Vegas is at least given a limited run to tie up loose ends. I'd be really annoyed if they cancelled it after the way the last season ended.

Would also be nice to at least hold out the possibility that William Petersen might put in an appearance in the last ever episode, should there be one.

Seems unlikely given it was 16 episode seasons, and they need 88 episodes to make money.

The only reason I care about their private lives is because I wonder if their latest girlfriend or boyfriend is a Follower or if they are going to be a victim of a follower.

Watched the first 2 seasons of The Following, but it was nothing but a ridiculous stab-fest. Kevin Bacon and Shawn Ashmore both deserve better.

The last episode of season 15 (which might be the final one ever) has already been shown in the States.

I heard CSI ended in a good way. It was previously confirmed last year that the season was to end in a big cliffhanger with one of the original cast members being murdered. But there must have been a change as I believe it ended with the characters saying goodbye to Nick who has a job elsewhere. So if the show does end, It did not send in a ciffhanger.

Most shows whose future is normally up in the air can sometimes be determined on how well mid-season shows do. If midseason shows flop, then that means there is room for a show like CSI to survive another season. Cyber hasn't been a big flop but its performing slightly below average. Battle Creek has bombed. We will just have to see what May brings us. But let's be honest, CSI has had a huge run and made CBS a ton of money. But it's ratings have seen a decline which is normal for a show after 15 seasons and it can also be rather expensive to run, because I can imagine long-standing actors like Jorja Fox do not come cheap, or veteran actors like Ted Danson either.

I've actually seen the Season 15 finale already. I do think it's a cliffhanger of sorts because the fate of one of the regulars is still up in the air, so i'd like to see that resolved at least.

Comedy Central UK has bought the UK rights to Broad City a new US odd couple comedy which will premiere on Tue 28th April at 10pm. It's from Amy Poehler, Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer with the latter two being the main stars of the show. It's had rave reviews in the States, celebrity guest appearances and has already been renewed for season 3.

Not new news but Empire will premiere its debut season on E4 on Tuesday 28th April at 9pm and The Walking Dead season 5 will premiere on Spike UK on Fri 1st May at 9pm with a double bill.

Castle has been renewed and will be back for Season 8 now that Nathan Fillion has signed a new deal.

Divorce, a new comedy, has been picked up to series by HBO. Created by Brit Sharon Horgan who will also be executive producer it will star Sarah Jessica Parker, Thomas Haden Church, Molly Shannon and Talia Balsam.

Castle hasn't actually been renewed yet has it? Unless I missed something

Nathan Fillion has signed his deal for a season 8 but no announcement of an 8th season has been made yet, it seems likely of course given he has signed on but not a 100% certainty yet

Stana Katic hasn't signed on yet as far as we know, whilst it can obviously continue without her I'd rather they end it if she isn't in, rather then plod through 1 extra season without her.

Season 8 isn't official yet, no, but with Fillion on board it should be a formality.

Slightly concerning about Katic not being signed up yet though. I think their dynamic makes the show what it is, and, for me, I don't think the show could continue without her so I'd also rather it end if she doesn't want to continue.

I hope Nashville is renewed for season 4.

Connie Briton has signed up to play in a new series about the OJ Simpson case.

I imagine she will be playing his murdered wife Nicole.

Well that's the rumour about Nathan. Stana has been doing a b****y good impression of saying goodbye on Instagram. And my fear is they do a season 8 without Stana, not good IMHO.

I do wonder if all this signing is oneupmanship, to get what I don't know what..

It's one season away from syndication. I am sure it will get a fourth season. Plus Connie will be filming her stint on American Crime during Nashville's hiatus so it wouldn't affect her doing Nashville if given another season.

I've just had a look at her instagram feed and you're absolutely right, it really does look like she's saying goodbye.

On recommendation from my brother, I'm 10 episodes in with Season 2. Oh. My. Days. Stab-fest is about the right word. Actually, it's more of a gore stab-fest that there were times I was wondering if I had mistaken this show for a zombie horror movie. Then I looked at the Kevin Williamson credits and all fell into place. There have been few times I've burst out laughing and rolled my eyes at some scenes and recoiled in disgust at others. At times I liken it to ridiculous seasons 7-8 of 24 except with demented cult serial killers as opposed to terrorists.

The female characters are written like they are terminally stupid. Well, apart from Debra Parker (Season 1) and Max (Season 2). Clare lost credibility for me when she decided to listen to her crazy ex-husband and believed a word he said via his lawyer. Ryan deserves better. But I put that down to the writing. Is there no male writer who can write decent female roles in their shows? The writer of Breaking Bad was another; at least he admits it so I give that 'pass'. I mean, if you don't know how, ask your sister/wife/mother/girlfriend/niece/other female friends for their perspective.

Still, it's an entertaining watch - just about pulled off by Max, Mike and Ryan.

TV Land have renewed Younger for a second season. I am surprised as the ratings have been poor and TV Land have cancelled shows that have earned higher ratings than what this has. But at least I can give it a go now.
