NBC have had a horrific year. So far out if the shows that have yet to be renewed or cancelled, Undateable has the best shot to return.

Fox is having a bad one bar Empire too.

Surprises of the year are the extremely consistent Scorpion on CBS and Secrets and Lies on ABC.

I hope so, Undateable is my fave comedy of the recent lot.

Daredevil renewed for Season 2

No-brainer really - Netflix seem to renew pretty much all of their original content for one thing, and it's also been very popular as well.

NBC have had a really bad year. FOX started off terribly but Empire and Last Man have helped.

Watched the first 2 seasons of The Following, but it was nothing but a ridiculous stab-fest. Kevin Bacon and Shawn Ashmore both deserve better.
Same here OH watched the 1st, but I watched 1 & 2, i really could not be bothered with this one.

Sad to hear this.

I really enjoy this show, as I did the original UK version, which I could never understand Channel 4 cancelling after just one season.

It's ratings could have been better, that is why CH4 dropped it

Happy about Daredevil getting a 2nd season. Fantastic show.

Gutted about Sirens. Undateable will no doubt return as the only comedy doing better than NBC average (but people may say that's only because its behind The Voice). FOX has had a worse year than NBC. FOX only had Empire for 10 eps, it's been struggling so much with everything else. LMOE is doing OK, Gotham is dropping as is Idol.

NBC has The Voice, The Blacklist, Undateable, TNS (yep, I know but its staying stable as The Voice goes down), Chicago PD/Fire. Even though it finishes, Parenthood helped too, as did Parks.

I did know that, but given some shows that suffer equally lower ratings that are renewed, it seemed a shame.

The Goldbergs has unofficially been renewed. One of the cast members confirmed it on a chat show and the creator confirmed it on Twitter. But it's never official until the network confirm it. It seems to be a new trend that cast and crew confirm a show's renewal or cancellation before a network does. But ABC have kept silent on any of their show's futures, most annoyingly with Revenge.

Good news about The Goldbergs and Faking It.

Almost finished watching the first 2 seasons of 'The Goldbergs' and it has been great. The casting is perfect they have real chemistry together. Love the 80s feel to the show, they've got it down just right.

Faking It, is my guilty pleasure. The characters are a bit too 'Me me me' for my liking but it is fun to watch.

Any news on Hawaii 5-0 or Blue Bloods? I have read on a couple of websites that if it's a straight choice between the two then Blue Bloods will be renewed as it has slightly better ratings.

No, and they will likely be announced next month.

I think Hawaii may be the one for the chop. It's demos are lower than Blue bloods and it costs more. Plus Blue Bloods does very well in syndication. Hawaii, not so much.

Marry Me at UK Pace seems to have overtaken the US Pace.

Not a good sign IMO.

I bet NBC air the remaining four episodes as a summer burn off.

from all I've read, it really is just when it's cancelled, not if

That is a shame, this has been my favourite of all the shows this season

I've enjoyed it up to a point, but when I started reading it was a near certainty for cancellation I stopped watching it. If it survives, i'll pick it up again but i'm not holding out a lot of hope.

I have all the episodes recorded and will happily watch regardless of cancellation, but only if it doesn't end on a cliffhanger. Considering the ratings were poor early on, the producers should realistically have ended the show with some sort of resolution and no cliffhanger.

I shall miss Forever too if axed. My favourite of the new US series.

Even though it is all but a remake of Highlander without the swords.

Must be one that resonates better with UK viewers than American.

I don't think they need to give The Goldbergs a press release to announce it. Its an obvious renewal. It's probably ABC best performing show in terms of health along with Greys. As MF, Scandal etc...have all dropped quite a bit.

Same thing was done with Murder. Never officially renewed it but at the end of its season when it finished they basically announced it by saying 'next season on...'

Rumours are that it will end on a cliffhanger. Bad decision, I think.
