Variety say that CSI is expected to get a "final" Season 16 order, but that it may be shortened from the standard 22
http://variety.com/2015/tv/news/bone...16-1201490958/ I'd be happy with that personally, so fingers crossed. |

The Following, Constantine and Forever are being shopped to different networks. Rumor has it that HULU is a contender for The Following.

Orphan Black renewed for a 4th season
I'm guessing high ad rates coupled with that fact it's a fairly well liked show, and the fact it's a Canadian co-production are why it's been renewed so early. There has been a lot of suggestion online that it could move to AMC. I can't personally see that happening, it's not really the right fit for AMC, and it's arguably BBC America's biggest show, so they probably wouldn't give it up without a fight, but it would be interesting to see what it could do on a bigger network. |

That's a weird one, because it never does very well live for BBC America, but does so insanely well on DVR, it has a "Live + 3 median income of $77,000 mak[ing] Orphan Black the second most affluent ad-supported cable drama behind AMC’s Mad Men." All of this despite the fact the show struggles to break 0.5m most of the time...

The Night Shift, The Mysteries of Laura and Undateable have all been renewed
NBC have confirmed Laura is going under a major revamp. It will focus more on crimes, and less on Laura's chaotic home life. |

Wow, you go to bed with nothing cancelled .. hehe
![]() Can't say i'm surprised about Stalker - for me, it had cancelled written all over it. One Big Happy seemed to be a no-brainer as well considering how poor the ratings were. Bit shocked that CSI might be ending with a two hour tv movie though. I was thinking they might give it something like a 6 episode 'event' type wrap-up. But then that said, at least it'll be given a chance to end properly I suppose and a movie would likely have more potential to feature William Petersen. |

I can think of only two or three shows in the past few years that grown massively in the middle of their run and sustained that growth, The Walking Dead, which started big anyway and only continued to grow, and Game of Thrones, which didn't exactly start small either. Also, given ABC have just renewed Agent Carter, so it's not really true. |

I think people who moan about shows not being given time to grow, are likely fans of shows that did bad in the ratings, and therefore why should the network waste money on a sinking ship for them to not make a profit.
Agent Carter wasn't a flop. It's demos never went any lower than 1.3/1.4, so ABC know this show doesn't have a massive audience, but it has an average audience at best and they can put that to good use in possibly increasing it or keeping it the same. |
