I adore both FOTB and Blackish (which gets better and better).

Didn't actually realise Castle's pickup for Season 8 has been made official. Still no news on Stana Katic returning though, which will make for a bit of a mess of a show if she does quit.

Last Man Standing has been renewed for a fifth season.

Whilst expected, I'm gutted Stalker has been cancelled. Also bummed that The Following has been axed.

The future of Hawaii Five O is one of the few CBS ‘unknowns’ remaining. Their upfronts are on Wednesday this week so we’ll find out then, if not before.
The general consensus is that either Hawaii Five O or Blue Bloods will be cancelled, with the cancellation of Hawaii Five O being slightly more likely. But CBS could surprise us, they may renew both. Or cancel both.

I hope for the sake of fans that Hawaii isn't cancelled. I think it ended on a cliffhanger. But it's looking more likely to be cancelled than Blue Bloods. Unless CBS give it a short final season. They did it with The Mentalist and are rumored to be doing it with The Good Wife.

Still no Bordertown. Must be saved for midseason next year. FOX picked it up like 2 years ago.

Yeah I just edited the post to include the midseason shows

Both Empire and Sleepy Hollow are 18 episodes so I guess Idol could fit into Wednesdays and Thursdays but they have two midseason dramas which they need to fit in,

I wonder when The X files will air. With production starting next month and with only just 6 episodes, I expected them to air as early as possible but obviously saving it for next year.

So far Thursday at 9pm is gonna be horrible for ratings, Sleepy Hollow v The Blacklist v Football v Scandal?

Glad Mysteries of Laura and CSiCyber and Madam Secretary are all back. Wish they hadn't cancelled Backstrom I was really getting into it especially the relationship between the brothers.

A cliff-hanger? If that’s true and it does get cancelled I’ll be annoyed at CBS for cancelling it and not giving the producers the opportunity to do a conclusion and annoyed at the producers for ending on a cliff-hanger knowing full well that it was quite possibly going to be the final season.
I think ending a programme that’s been going for 5 years on a cliff-hanger shows a lack of respect to the fans who have been following it for so many years. That’s if it does get cancelled of course. I’m still holding on hope...

Yeah, quite a competitive slot, which isn’t good for The Blacklist. Over the past 2 years it’s shown it can perform very well in the right timeslot slot, but only average if it’s up against tough competition

Out of those shows, I'll catch the odd episode of The Simpsons/Family Guy/American Dad but will regularly watch Gotham, Empire and Scream Queens.

Not liking the sound of Lucifer at all. It has what should be a cool premise but comes across as something rather generic. Is it just me?

It does but anything with a sci-fi/fantasy/supernatural element to it always appeals to me, regardless of how generic it sounds.

”

It doesn't end on a cliffhanger. Also, if it did end now, then the finale serves as a semi-conclusion, anyway.
