The DC character I would like to see adapted as a TV series is The Question, it would essentially be a procedural with serialised elements so it would be something that would appeal to NBC, CBS or FOX or a cable/SVOD network.

NBC have confirmed Undateable will have 13 episodes
So another short season? That means NBC couldn't be any further in getting this show to syndication numbers
AlexiR
13-05-2015
Well they'll be exactly 13 episodes closer to syndication. They'll also have the option to order more episodes for later in the season if things go well.

Watching the other abc trailers

Bit mixed on Quantico. Not fond of shows about terrorism but i like to keep an open mind

Oil looks set to be the next big primtime soap drama. Many are already calling it The New Dallas. It looks promising. The fact it is in Desperate Housewives and Revenge's old slot means it has a chance as well.

The Family - A young boy goes missing, returns years later and there is something off and about creepy about him. Yawn.

The Muppets - Looks promising. But the show will either go two ways. It will either be an absolute mess and fail, or it becomes one of the biggest surprises of the year.

The Real O'Neals - At first i was mixed about this but it got better as the trailer continued. This will be one of those few family based comedies that I think will proke a reaction and get people talking.

Uncle Buck - Feel like I have seen it all before. Has a slight "The Bernie Max Show" vibe. Feels like a show that would become a bit old after a few episodes.

Wicked City - A bit like dexter, but dexter avoided the cliches, while this one is soaked in them. Looks promising but it comes across as a show that would a have a short run. I couldn't see this running for years and years. Maybe one or two seasons at most.

Agree with pretty much everything you've said, I couldn't even get through the trailer for Uncle Buck or Dr. Ken so I will be forgetting them, the O'Neals might be good, will give that a go. I also liked The Catch & Of Kings and Prophets could be great.

Looks like CSI is getting that two hour wrap up film and Grissom and Catherine will be back
Meanwhile Ted Danson's character is joining CSI Cyber.

Angel from Hell sounds brilliant. Nice to see Jane Lynch heading back into tv. I just hope her character isn't a rehash of Sue Sylvester.

Yeah apparently Two-hour series finale on Sunday, Sept. 27.

CBS has done an NBC and gotten rid of the Monday comedy block, I suspect they are keeping back some comedies in the likelyhood that one or both of the single camera comedies fail.

I'm shocked they've kept Elementary on Thursdays, I would think they move it to Fridays and Sundays and have Rush Hour in that slot.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Sunday shows have shortened orders to make way for the other midseason dramas and comedies.

They are both DC comic come to think of it
That will be an interesting ratings battle

CBS has the Superbowl this season so it'll be interesting what show they select to air after it. I reckon it's between Supergirl, Scorpion and Rush Hour

Quantico got a very strong reaction from ad buyers yesterday and ABC seem ready to push its star, Priyanka Chopra, as their next breakout star. I can't say I was particularly impressed with it myself though. It seems like a show trying to do too many things simultaneously and likely falling short on all of them. Its in a pretty horrible slot for ABC as well.

I'm not sure that's true. That Sunday 9PM slot has been a disaster for ABC for a good few seasons now and Once Upon A Time isn't the lead-in that it was and won't have the Frozen boost powering it this year.

I think this looks like the strongest drama pilot of the season to be honest. Its got a strong premise and a fantastic cast.

Whereas I think The Catch looks like an incredibly well crafted parody of a Shondaland show.

I think CBS are probably gambling on the idea that the bottom has fallen out of Gotham and it isn't rebounding next year.

I'm not at all surprised that Elementary is staying place for the Fall. There doesn't seem like much sense in CBS trying to launch a new drama at 10PM on Thursday in November opposite How To Get Away With Murder and NBC's efforts to try and grab a more male skewing audience with their Heroes/Blacklist/Player combo. I will however be a little surprised if Elementary is still airing Thursday 10PM in the Spring.

Lucifer and The Frankenstein Code look fairly uninspired but at least the former has some humour to it. Minority Report is fairly eh as well to be honest.

I caught a leaked trailer for Scream Queens and that does seem pretty good though.

Bordertown feels like Seth Macfarlane just phoning it in to be honest.

Oil is definitely the new big night time soap for ABC but Of Kings And Prophets looks brilliant.

The Catch is very Shonda like but in a good-ish way. I don't know if it'll catch on the same way HTGAWM did last year though.

Wicked City looks alright I guess as does The Family.

Curious about Quantico as a series.

Can't wait to see The Muppets though as well as The Real O'Neals.

I think they might lean more toward comedy rather than drama. Big Bang after the Super Bowl would net them a small fortune. And its interesting that they're holding The Odd Couple back til midseason.

I reckon they'll move Elementary in the Spring and put Rush Hour in that slot. I think keeping three comedies back is insurance for either new comedies failing.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the Sunday block has a shortened order. I think it'll be likely be the final season of The Good Wife and with so many dramas held back. They need room to air them,

I think if CBS wanted to air Big Bang Theory after the Superbowl, they would have done it a long time ago. I reckon if any comedy gets that slot, it'll be Mom.

It'll be interesting to see. I've liked his character since he was introduced so it's good to know he'll be continuing in that universe.

The wrap-up movie should be good, although Marg Helgenberger did phone it in the last time she appeared as a guest star. Be good to see William Petersen back though.

I reckon Ted is being brought in as a ploy to boost ratings. A familiar face from an existing show is bound to bring back CSI fans who may of written off or gave up on Cyber.

It looks like Danson will be replacing MacNicol, which I suspected onec the move was announced (and before MacNicol's departure was) Which is a shame MacNicol's Sifter is one of the better characters in Cyber. I'd rather have had Danson expanding the cast or replacing Arquette's Ryan.
