Sorry guys. It was one of those typo or mispront thingies. I did, of course, mean 2061.

From what I have read so far, it seems to be a midseason series which will cross over both series. Of course that could just be fan speculation.

Still no word on Bates Motel. A&E have previously renewed the show before the show even finishes airing. I hope it isn't in trouble.”

I've kind of give up on Bates, it got to drawn out and same old with Norman and his mother, the last one I watched was ep4 of season 3 then stopped.

In view of the simulcast I fixed this for you.

I'm guessing Fox wants to hit 100 episodes and offered ABC a discount to keep it. It's the type of shows which will air in reruns successfully.

Just read the premise for this - sounds like it has potential.

Last Man Standing is this generation's According to Jim. Another sitcom that was unoriginal, dreadfully unfunny, hated by critics and very few people would admit to watching it. Yet that managed eight seasons.

HULU have renewed Deadbeat for a third season.

I think that’s a bit unfair. I agree it’s not very original, but I find it quite enjoyable, mainly because of Tim Allen. My only criticism would be it’s bizarre tendency to turn into a right wing political campaign ad sometimes – I can’t decide if it’s done for affect or if it’s actually trying to make a political statement. Either way, it performs well on Friday nights, is quite cheap to produce (minus Tim Allen’s salary) and has performed well internationally, so I’m not really that surprised it’s completed 4 seasons with a 5th on the way.

What I found surprising about that show is how in the episode I watched, there was not a single laugh. Not even half a laugh, it was just a bit painful. How did Tim Allen stoop that low?

But Discovery has a show called Blood and Oil?

Wonder if ABC actually googled that name first?

That's a big score for FOX. For a Marvel series like that, you'd have expected it to go to one of the bigger channels.

FOX likely offered more money. That is usually how shows earn their places on channels. A bidding war.
