Any need for the arrogance Jason

No, not at all.

I am just saying FOX likely out bid other channels. I don't know why you are being an arsehole. I thought you were one of the few decent people on this place.

I know my stupid sense of humour doesn't always translate in to ascii text form, so i can certainly see how it came across, so i should have realised. I will now hug the monitor and bring you tea and biscuits as penance

Whilst I'm happy to see it get picked up in the UK and shall be watching

I got the sense it was anything but a bidding war, AOS dosn't do as well as hoped does it and I'd be fairly certain that CH4 would have had 1st option on Agent Carter and passed on it.

I may be wrong of course but if it was really sought after I would of expected it to have been snapped up by now.

Still I'm glad its finally gotten a home here in the uk

That's how it came across to me, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was apparently subject to a major bidding war between C4, Sky and IIRC C5, and as much as I love the show, there's no denying that it turned sour for C4.

My guess is UK stations were holding back, and Fox is the first to break and pay what ABC wants...

Is there likely to be any interest in izombie from the UK?

I'm worried for agents of shield as I keep hearing CH4 considering dropping it as the show is too expensive in relation to viewing figures.

Well I'm sure that Agents Of SHIELD would be quickly picked up by another UK channel if dropped by Channel 4.Especially Fox UK as they could combine it Agent Carter as they do in America!

Well if they do there is the possibility it will move to FoxUK (?) where Agent Carter has gone to. So it won't be lost forever.

E4 have expressed interest following the renewal of iZombie. As have others so I'd imagine it'll land somewhere. Lots of buyers liked it last year but just weren't sure it would survive so didn't want to take the gamble on it. The same was true of ABC comedies Fresh off the Boat and Galavant. We also saw it with The Goldbergs before that. Buyers are being a little more cautious with some projects now.

In terms of Agents of SHIELD I wouldn't worry. Even if C4 opt not to renew their deal Marvel will likely go out of their way to keep it available to UK audiences. The MCU developments kind of demands it. If a broadcaster doesn't want it then I imagine Netflix or Amazon will.

I thought of E4 as well for IZombie but I thought it might be a bit gory for them. They might take the risk though now especially now it's got a second season!

Yes as I previous posted that I could easily see Agents Of SHIELD being picked up by another channel if dropped by Channel 4

I wouldn't be surprised to see Marvel dropping the price in order to keep Agents of SHIELD on C4. Agents of SHIELD is free advertising for the MCU, and given the major Inhumans tie-ins, it's in Marvel's interests to make sure it is seen by as many people as possible, and Fox isn't the place to do that...

That said, one of ABC Studios' other shows, Once Upon a Time went years without a distribution deal, before eventually landing at Netflix, so it wouldn't unprecedented for it not to go anywhere...

The show has been renewed. Not officially by A+E but the Executive Producer of the show has confirmed by Twitter it's coming back next year for season 4 so not to worry.
