This is kind of strange news. I thought BBC had the UK rights to Parks and Recreation as they had been showing it on BBC4 but they don't. They lost the rights and it now has a new home in the UK.

The final four seasons 4-7 of Parks and Recreation will no longer be shown on BBC4 and can now be seen on the Dave channel.

Seasons 4/5 will air from Mon 27th July while seasons 6/7 will follow in summer 2016.

Falling Skies season 5 and final season will premiere on Fox UK on Tuesday 30th June at 9pm.

TruTV has snapped up the UK rights to America's Got Talent from ITV2 and will premiere with season 10 on Wed 15th July at 8pm. Season 10 started last month in the US.

Interesting. ITV2 was a year behind the US so the last season they aired was season 8. Looks like season 9 will never air in the UK as TruTV are starting with the current one, season 10.

NETFLIX have confirmed a new show. Following the recent announcement of Degrassi ending, Netflix will air a new spin off called Degrass: New Class. With so many of their new shows hitting so many different audiences, it was eventual they would cater to the teen market.

Carlton Cuse made comments heavily implying it had been renewed for both a fourth and fifth season, with most sources suggesting that A&E had mandated the show end after it's fifth season.

Good news. I've been watching them using other methods.

What’s your logic here? You’ve watched season 1 and season 2, but won’t watch season 3 until you know there’s going to be a season 4? Do you not start watching any season of a programme until you know it’s been renewed for another following that one?
I can sort of understand not watching a new programme until you know it hasn’t been cancelled after one season, but to not watch the 3rd season because there may not be a 4th season?

I’m not criticising or judging, just curious as to your reasoning behind such a view...

No it's fine
I don't watch any season until i know there is another season coming to avoid cliffhangers.

I don't like wasting my time on shows to end on cliffhangers. If it ended in a good way or open-ended, I will watch it. If not, what is the point. It might seem daft to many but it is a logic and way that works for me. I haven't always done it. Only as of the last year.

I was wondering the same thing, I see little-monster has replied something about cliffhangers and shows finishing, but what if the final season of a show started with the answer to a cliffhanger from the previous season.

e.g. Season 'X' of a show finishes with a cliffhanger, say a burning Mercedes in a ditch on characters wedding day, season 'X+1' gets the go ahead, but with contracts coming to an end there is no guarantee of season 'X+2', do you watch season 'X+1' and if so when? Only when season 'X+2' gets the go ahead and if it doesn't do you leave it not knowing the result of the season 'X' cliffhanger? It's hard to work out the logic of the idea.

Of course those of you who worked out the thinly disguised example I used will be aware that the explanation of the cliffhanger made no sense whatsoever and that is likely to annoy some people considerably.

There probably is a logic in the argument in there somewhere it's just my little brain can't get itself round it.

Very good point!
I also don’t understand why you would deprive yourself of an entire season of a programme you like just because the final episode ends on an unanswered cliff-hanger.
But I’m not going to criticise, everyone is of course entitled to their own opinion/logic. I’m just interested in the reasoning behind such opinion/logic...

There isn't really a proper opinion or logic really. I don't wish to waste my time on something that could end on a cliffhanger and never ever be resolved due to a cancellation. If the show is eventually cancelled and ends on a cliffhanger, I will read all what happened in that season online.

I'm not slating this, I'm just curious. I know I've watched a few shows and been supremely annoyed by the cliffhangers.

But say season two of a show ended on a cliffhanger, in rolls season three but you won't watch it until you know there's a season 4? Or do you just watch the first episode to resolve the cliffhanger? Then not watch any more until you know there's a season 4?

Any news on whether Sy-Fy UK have picked up the final six-episode season of Continuum, and if so how long do they plan to make us wait for it??

Also apologies if it's already been mentioned as not gone through the entire thread but The Last Ship returns on TNT Friday June 21st, I assume Sky wil lpick that up?

Bugger, I quite liked Resurrection (hadn't started on The Returned) - still we still have The Leftovers which seems appropriate
