Best of a bad bunch, that's not saying much though.

I've become a bit blasé to all the action series this season.

Not sure if it is because there are too many of them, or because they all seem to be doing the same old, same old.

I've given up on Chicago PD, which has become way too soapy.

Don't really care what happens in Quantico or Blindspot.

I liked 'The Player' but that is forumlaic stuff we've seen before.

The new comedies are not much better, with too many about anarchic individuals who think they can do what they want because they are either talented or rich, but learn their lessons over time. rolleyes

Some shows I stick by because I like the characters or cast, but the stories have got stale, The Good Wife and Scandal being good examples.

I think it might be time for another genre to come to the fore for a while. Let action shows take a break.

Aaargh!!

That's pissed me off no end. I know that last season's finale worked well as a series finale but damn it, I wanted more!

At least Julie Benz can go on to do a show worthy of her talent.

Hawaii Five-0 is not stretching her talent much, awful show.

I wonder if the cancellations of Dominion and Defiance will mean a renewal for Olympus.

Yeah it looked like they were told to write an ending as they knew it was probably not going to be renewed.

They have

Z Nation
Killjoys
Dark Matter
12 Monkeys

Haven and Lost Girl end for good soon.

The expanse debuts in December
The Magicians debuts next year

Plus, Hunters and Wynonna Earp both start next April.

And the mini-series, Childhood's End airs in December.

So, it's not all bad for them.

It's based on the comic book series of the same name.

Wynonna is a descendant of the famous lawman Wyatt Earp, and she's the top agent for a special unit within the US Marshals known as The Monster Squad. She battles supernatural threats.

The Whispers has been cancelled after one season
Baby Daddy has been given an extra 10 episodes

Not surprised about The Whispers, Lily Rabe just didn't look interested IMO.

The cast contracts expiring didn't help either because it was filmed such a while ago. They were filming it this time last year.

Ah that's a shame but I do prefer they didn't string things out and Lily wasn't coming back.
