I just thought it was a good pun.

The first 3 seasons were good, but it has become style over content since then.

I did too but when they explained the name change to Lookinglass at the comic con they did last month, it made much more sense.

Fox have announced their midseason schedule

http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/11/fox...midseason.html

Sleepy Hollow has been moved to fridays. That's essentially a sign of a show nearing cancellation.

Lucifer will replace Minority Report

Second Chance will be paired with The X Files.

Pretty much agree re AHS. Thought the first series was fab, enjoyed Asylum but not as much, struggled to get through Coven and lasted two episodes of Freak Show before giving up. Haven't bothered looking at Hotel at all.

CBS have given the super bowl slot to The Late Show.

Not long to wait for Lucifer to start which is great news. Loved the pilot.

I thought the pilot was disappointing and predictable. It's essentially a crime drama with a small supernatural twist. Which is essentially what Almost Human and Minority Report were. Only difference being they were futuristic but both have short runs. I had half hoped it would be about collecting souls like how The Collector, Constantine and Brimstone were. I just hope the other episodes are much better.

I am more excited for Second Chance, although Rob Kazinsky needs to work on his american accent. It wasn't perfect in True Blood and it had not improved based on Second Chance's trailer from back in May.

I will be curious to see how they both do, because FOX and Sci-fi never work out well.

The actual post game slot, or the slot after the news?

For example, in the past NBC gave ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ and ‘The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon’ a special Sunday 11pm ‘post news’ slot, but still aired something post game. And CBS did likewise with ‘The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson too a couple of years back.

The post game slot

Wow, that's incredible commitment to promoting The Late Show with Stephen Colbert by CBS. As I said, late night shows have previously been given 'special' live editions post the game, but always post 11pm. I don't think any late night show has been given the actual post game slot before...

EDIT: Just did a bit or research, and yes it's the first time ever a network has awarded the post game slot to a late night show. CBS are also giving 'The Late Late Show with James Corden' a post game slot after Colbert too. They are really pushing their late night line up, and it just goes to show important late night is to networks now alongside the traditional primetime schedule.

Enjoyed the first season, but the second was all over the place, stopped watching after four episodes.

It's ratings were on par with Proof and yet they cancelled that and renewed this. Some of TNT's renewals are odd at times. They cancelled Perception but renewed the flop Legends, whose ratings are even lower in it's current second season. If they cancel The Librarians and renew Agent X, i will actually boycott that network.

Good news. Cheers. It's certainly one of the better cop shows around.

TNT also cancelled Franklin and Bash, which , from what I remember, was also performing around the same Murder in the First and better than Legends. I think recently TNT has focused a lot on ‘imaging’ and not just ratings, but ultimately what’s the point of having a very targeted and clear network image if no ones watching?

Indeed. What is the point? I know that cable don't reflect on ratings like broadcast networks do, but it's pathetic to cancel the shows that do have a standard healthy audience. Imagine if FOX cancelled Gotham but renewed Minority Report. It would not make sense.

Indeed F&B was one of a raft of shows that they cut because they wanted to change the channel image and move the demo from 25-54 to 18-49 under the TNT Drama. Boom tagline

Bloody annoying when you fall into the 49-54 bucket

And the first "official" cancellation of the season is Wicked City.

I really thought they would air the whole season regardless but no, they have taken it off the air instantly. I believe ABC were the first to cancel a show last season with Manhattan Love Story. Those remaining episodes ended up on Hulu and ABC On Demand a few months later.

It seems the show is currently filming it's eighth episode and production will stop after that. So only eight out of 10 episodes will have only been completed. The EP of the show has confirmed on twitter they are working on a satisfying conclusion.

Now to wait and see whether the 'next series' entry currently sitting in my SKY planner actually picks it up and starts recording when it comes back on!

Apart from MITF, the current list of 'next series' entries in my planner reads: The Strain, Secrets And Lies, Necessary Roughness, The Fixer, Rookie Blue and Dark Matter. I'm assuming it's safe to delete The Fixer as that won't be back? And can anyone confirm whether or not there's another season of Rookie Blue as last I heard it was still in limbo.

No. Rookie Blue was cancelled last month. But they had a feeling they would be so they filmed a proper series finale anyway.

As for The Fixer, it was a one off series.
