I absolutely love it, and think it is a shame it hasn't been shown in the UK. It was filmed in the UK, with a mostly British cast. But most of all, it really does strike me as something a British audience would like. How could all of the UK TV buyers be looking at Galavant and saying, "Nope, not interested?" I just don't get it.

Could it be because ‘Once Upon a Time’ bombed over here?

Have you seen Galavant? It is a musical comedy set in the middle ages, not a fantasy drama, and the comedy is of the absurdist/ironic type that one often sees Britons complimenting themselves on being sophisticated enough to appreciate.

I admit that Galavant is a musical comedy series and Once Upon a Time is a drama - but I'd describe them both as fairy tale themed. But maybe I've based that on the fact I don't like fairy tale themed shows and I don't like both of these.

I'd still class them as broadly the same genre, even if not exactly the same. And I think ABC do too - wasn't Galavant originally used to fill the mid-season gap of Once Upon a Time and heavily promoted within it (suggesting ABC think they share a similar audience)?

I personally love Galavant and I'm pleased that there's a new series in a few weeks.

For me, it's a human equivalent of a Pixar or Disney animated musical film and for me it works on all levels.

I was a bit mixed on Galavant, and this is coming from someone who loves musicals and that type of comedy.

Worth seeing just to watch Vinnie Jones singing and dancing!

He is the very reason I don't watch it.

He's more of a 'one-liner' guy, if that helps.

It's a shame he didn't have one line and then out.

I could just about handle the show if he wasn't in it as I do like a good musical comedy show.

The fact Vinnie Jones has managed to crack the US is bizzare in every way. Look at his credits. He has done tons of US films and guest spots. Awful actor. Playing yourself isn't hard.

Have you watched 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend'? I think it is really good.

I think it will as the lead actress bagged a golden globe nomination. Golden globe nominations was one factor in Jane The Virgin's renewal.

The show itself should have been nominated, not just the amazing Rachel Bloom. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is another show that should have been bought by the UK but has instead been ignored by UK buyers.

Having been on the air since october, it's too early to say it's been ignored. Not every new television show is picked up instantly. I am sure it will in due time.

The UK buyers saw the CEG pilot in May. UK buyers saw the pilot for Galavant in May 2014. Sure, sales to the UK could still be made sometime in the future. But the pilots for both series were strong enough that they should have been bought -- especially over a lot of crap from America that UK buyers have bought instead.

Not surprised about Agent X, it's all so familiar.
