TNT pick up a reboot of Tales From The Crypt. The show will be apart of TNT's move into the horror genre. More horror based shows are set to be announced in the near future. The show will premiere in the fall.

Rizzoli and Isles to end after seven seasons.

Not surprising, it has reached seven seasons and that's when contracts for actors and creative expire and that means renegotiation for all involved and that usually involves big salaries and I suspect Warner Bros have thought it's best to end it at 105 episodes which is more than enough for syndication and for TNT, they can shed their procedural image

HBO have given a greenlight on a Deadwood Movie

HBO are in talks to renew Game Of Thrones for a seventh and eight season.

Agree with all of that. And even though the relationship between the two really is at the heart of the show, if they carried on it would probably end up being a bit repetitive.

I like the show a lot - a very easy watch due to the chemistry between Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander, so i'll certainly miss it.

I love it when it's the TCA's because you get about two weeks worth of renewals and cancellations. Expect more tonight.

Unbelievable! They cancel the programme and decided not to wrap up the story with a one off TV movie, and then a full 10 YEARS later change their mind! Could this be them testing the waters for a possible return - both Ian McShane and Timothy Olyphant are now available again.

I wonder if Sky Atlantic will air this, even though they've never had the rights to Deadwood (despite being a HBO series).

CBS Action airs Deadwood over here. The reason why is because it was a co-production of CBS and HBO, which means HBO do not have full rights to it. HBO also do not have full rights to Sex and The City and a few other shows as well.

Yes, exactly, so I wonder if the Deadwood movie will also be a co-production between CBS/Paramount and HBO, making it exempt from Sky's HBO deal. Sorry, should have worded my original post a bit better.

Whatever way it happens, I'm very pleased that there is going to be a Deadwood movie.

Sky aired Deadwood originally anyway (on Sky One, before the days of Sky Atlantic), so I suspect they'll pick it up (for Sky Atlantic this time), it just may not be part of their HBO deal. That's my guess anyway.

Good, but probably to be expected from all the promos and the A-list cast. It'll be interesting to see how the ratings continue beyond the premier. I'll be giving it a watch over the next few days. No UK broadcaster yet though (although I'm sure the cast alone will mean it get's picked up someone).

Sex and the City is owned by Warner Bros in the US and CBS internationally hence why The Carrie Diaries was able to air on The CW. The movies were produced by HBO and New Line and distributed by WB.

HBO have relaxed their policy for owning their shows with The Leftovers and Westworld both being distributed by Warner Bros.

Fear the Walking Dead is returning in April for its first half of its second season, I imagine once that finishes, Preacher and Humans will take over in June.

Given that Game of Thrones is airing in late April, I have a feeling that Westworld will end up airing in July along with season 2 of Ballers.

It's not even on the CBS schedules yet but it's rumoured to be potentially showing up this summer, so if that's the case, I'd say it's highly likely that it won't make it to Channel 5 until 2017 - probably this time next year.

Since it's the final season, I'd personally be inclined to "go US pace" with it, rather than wait another year for Channel 5 to show it.
