Blue Bloods has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I guess with the nature of the cast, it's not like they can really replace anyone though so i can imagine if just one of them wants to leave, they'll pull the plug on the whole thing.

Would be nice to see some more though.

The Boss of CBS has confirmed in an interview that they plan to renew all their current freshman shows for second seasons.

So while nothing has been officially renewed yet. That means

Code Black, Supergirl, Limitless and Life In Pieces are a lock for a renewal.

CBS still have Rush Hour and the new criminal minds spin-off to premiere.

The network will also also see conclusions of Mike and Molly, Person of Interest and The Good Wife in the next few months.

Elementary and CSI Cyber are also contenders to be cancelled by the end of the season.
I really hope Elementary is renewed. It's one of the best things around!

It might be renewed. Maybe a short fifth season. But it's one of CBS's lowest rated shows and it has plenty of episodes for syndication.

I'm happy with short seasons, at least they have time that way to tie everything up.

Yes, I like it too. It's not the greatest show ever but it does have some charm and it is very easy to the brain cells so you don't have to put a lot of effort into watching it. The cast works well together and even the teenage daughter isn't as annoying as she used to be.

I suppose if it does end it will be with one of them being killed off.

Hope this is true. I really enjoyed Code Black.

I'm also in the minority of enjoying CSI Cyber.

I bailed on Elementary around the Kitty storyline. It just lost its spark for me.

You Me and The Apocalypse has been cancelled by sky. I know it's a UK show but it has been airing in the US and I wanted to let people know. At least I can delete it off my V plus now. I am running out of room.

My guess is how poorly it did in the states. It was a US co production so they would of needed the show to be just as successful in the US as it was in the UK.

Thats a shame as this latest series is really god its gone back to basics and is Sherlock and Joan solving cases each week.

I bailed on elementary around season 2. I just didn't care. It became a bog standard crime drama that just happened to have Sherlock Holmes in. I like my crime dramas with a bit of edge and difference to them.

Same here. But the only issue is Ed O'Neill's commitment to Modern Family. I would love a revival of that show (even if only one more short season) and they have all said they would be up for it.
Funnily enough he SPOILS Modern Family for us

I'd have preferred a complete unknown for the role .

There may well could be

Sequel series would center around grown up Bud Bundy, played by David Faustino - See more at: http://www.thewrap.com/katey-sagal-e...spinoff/#.dpuf

I disagree, I think it has such a large cast of key characters it could easily continue without one of them.
But I think all cast members have signed a 7 season contract, so should CBS want to do a 7th season next year the entire cast will return. After that, I suspect CBS will end it, not wanting to enter re-negotiations for a programme that only performs will on a Friday night.

I suppose if it does end it will be with one of them being killed off.
I’m not so sure. I can’t see them killing off a family member in the final episode (whenever that maybe). Unless maybe the grandpa. But despite the somewhat dark nature of the cases sometimes I’ve always thought of it as a ‘happily ever after’ type of programme.

And on an unrelated note, I can’t believe Tom Selleck is 71 years old – he looks great (and is still a great actor).

Gutted, but not suprised. Overall I really enjoyed it, but it was too long and lagged in the middle episodes quite a bit. It should have been 6 x 30min snappy episodes cutting out the needless filler. It also needed a better leading man and not the whiny Matthew Baynton. Now we will never know what happens in the bunker.

Sky One said they felt the show came to a natural conclusion. But yet it ended on a cliffhanger. Ratings wise, it did well. But as i said before, it's poor performance in the US was likely a factor due to be a co-production.

It did and it didn't...for me it was fine as a natural conclusion, but if they wanted too then they could continue the story...but as an ending it was fine.

People can use their imaginations as to what happens next, though sadly some people don't seem to be able to do that, and it must be shown/told to them.

rolleyes

Oh please. If we wanted to use our imaginations we'd read a book, not watch TV.
