I heard a rumor it had been renewed as one of the writers tweeted they had began work on season 5. But nothing official from FX yet

Netflix have picked up both seasons of iZombie. They are available to watch right now.

That's good news. Its a show that I've heard good things about but never got around to watching. Sounds perfect for a Bank Holiday binge watch.

Having watched both series of Izombie at US pace its amazing to think its taken this long to get picked up in the UK.

Such a good show with a great cast - didn't think it would be my type of show but found it unmissable entertainment.

Just finished the pilot and loved it. I don't know how this passed me by at US Pace.
An Undead version of Veronica Mars - what more could you want? We've had sexy vampires before (Evil Willow, obviously) but Rose McIver brings us our first ever tasty zombie.

Not really a rumor. It was confirmed months ago they are writing a script.

I'm so happy to see IZombie on Netflix as I've done first season but need to watch the second season makes it easier and let's hope they show the third season after US airing like they do with other US shows!

These days majority of viewers have the option of catch up tv. My dad has it but at 79 doesn't even want to understand it, just enjoys the choice compared to 30 years ago. He watches everything live. Me just sport and news live, almost everything on delay.

I'm the same as you fayebeatle as I can't remember the last time I watched something live apart from Sport or News

I know a lot of people who do it but then some people still prefer to mix the two as even my father who is 68 watches Netflix as well as live TV

I just think of the time I would waste watching live TV as I watch so many US shows it would make me struggle to watch half as much as I do now if I watched live TV!

The only thing i watch live is soaps, award shows and big brother. I record everything. I like to watch things in my own time. Sometimes i will wait for all the episodes to air and have a binge marathon.

Scandal is rumoured to be returning mid-season with fewer episodes next season, following the announcement of Kerry Washington's pregnancy.

wanted to ask a question not entirely sure if this is right place to ask but with the upfronts happening soon would they (i.e. abc, cbs, fox, cw and nbc) be announcing remaining pick ups, cancellations/renewals this week or next? also anyone have any pilots they want picked up?

Pick ups, renewals and cancellations seem to happen before Upfronts are presented if you go by recent years. So expect plenty of more news in the coming weeks before.

The only thing Upfronts present that are not previously revealed are timeslots and what shows are being saved for midseason.

In terms of pilots, I haven't got a clue really. I haven't paid a lot of attention compared to previous years. There was one pilot that sounded good called Model Women, which is meant to be a soap opera set in a modelling agency. But news has come to light that the project maybe dead in the water.

The recent pick up of musical drama Star sounds good. I am sucker for a musical drama and I watch anything that has Queen Latifah in.

Used to love that show, but revivals haven't had a good track record have they?.

The only revivial that has not done well was Heroes Reborn

But Arrested Development, 24, The X Files and Fuller House have done rather well.

Rumours on Variety that Supergirl may be CW bound.

Likely mean a budget cut but on the plus side for them it'd also mean it'd likely run for another 6 years at least.

Wow I'm shocked that Supergirl gets a higher budget on CBS than The CW especially as the effects and wire work in the show have been terrible and it already looks worse than Arrow,Flash and Legends Of Tomorrow on a bigger budget then I don't see the point in bringing it to The CW

I think moving to the cw will do more harm than good in terms of creativity

and as for the budget, it may not be slashed. CW shows don't look cheap to me. Reign must be very expensive to make as it is a period drama that is filmed in two different countries.

More crossovers and it brings it firmly into the universe of the other shows. There are probably also savings in sharing stuff ( production costs, sets etc) across 4 shows.
