Promos for NBC's new fall shows

I liked all three to be honest.

Thursday is going to change after the first few weeks as NBC has thursday night American Football after CBS from late october i think. I feel for Superstore if it does get left on a thursday for whole season as its no doubt going to end up against TBBT on CBS and may lose badly. Also unless any change when we get CBS shedule on Wednesday i think This is Us will bomb up against NCIS NO

I hope it's better than her political drama.

I'll say one thing for Hiegl, she's a tryer! Another starring vehicle for Heigl after the last one flopped.

She could have had a great career if she just learned to keep her mouth shut and not shit all over her bosses. I do think she's talented, shame her tv career has turned out this way.

Which would be a shame as This Is Us looks very good to me and think it's got positive reviews.

I agree, i do like the look of it and will certainly be checking it out as i do think it could be very good. Im just worried about it going against what i imagine will be CBS lineup.

The Carmichael Show renewed for a third season

Superstore will air a special episode to tie in with the olympics this summer.

Good news about Shades of Blue. I thought that I had read that it had been renewed, but then noticed that it wasn't on the Fall schedule.

I think 13 episode runs are much better for this type of show, less filler and easier to keep up with.

I think the small episode order works for Shades of Blue but I believe the main reason for it is due to Jennifer Lopez. She's a busy woman. She can't commit to a nine month shooting schedule, especially as she does films and music.

I like the look of This Is Us, I've heard there's twist to the show though that the trailer hadn't given away so will see what that is.

Will check out The Good Place just because it's from the creators of Parks and Rec. not sure about Timeless, the trailer didn't wow me.

Rosewood has only done well due to being paired with Empire. It will most likely do worse now they have paired it with an ageing crime drama on it's last legs.

FOX confirm that The X Files will most likely return next year.

I waited nearly eight years for XF to come back following the awful second film. I think I am patient enough to wait another year.

None of the cancelled shows have surprised me. Though I am surprised Sleepy Hollow and American Crime were renewed.

The X Files may come back at a later date as well. I'd say maybe 2018 or 2019 perhaps.

Critical acclaim and the fact that it's expected to be a big contender at the emmy's is what saved AC yet again.

Nashville has been a big shock to me. Despite poor ratings, I really thought ABC would of given it a fifth season, especially as so many of their new shows flopped, there would easily be room for it. Sadly not.

Gutted that Nashville has been cancelled, though I hear that it may find a new home. I hope so

I liked all three of those new shows as well. The Parks and Rec pedigree gives me hope and Ted Danson as an angel (sort of) in a drama/sit com set in Heaven. What's not to like.

As for This is Us, interesting idea for an almost a new genre of drama so definitely worth a look. Bit like dramatising 36 up.

Timeless is another of this year's theme of time travel shows but looks the easiest for a non sci fi fan to follow with its big themes and historic events, changing history and Homeland Security's time machine making it look like a modern day Quantum Leap come Time Tunnel.

It'll be a long wait for the fall season. But I'm not wishing time away for these shows.
