I am shocked about Carrie diaries. I really am.
I would of preferred a sixth season of 90210.

Pretty much all my shows bar Touch are coming back
Just need a confirmation on Grey's anatomy, Nashville, Suburgatory, Revenge and Once upon a time.

Everything above will be renewed but there is a question mark on Nashville. Still leaning towards renewal.

I don't agree
it's an awesome series
It has nothing to do with the quality of the show, which I agree, is far better than the ratings reflect.

I don't know. There has been a significant drop in how well even procedurals repeat to a level where a limited run series airing during a shows hiatus actually starts to make more sense than showing repeats as the extra ad revenue offsets the extra cost. Its why we are seeing a rise in limited run series being commissioned. (And most likely why the CW has picked up a normal amount of new shows BUT has cancelled fewer than normal)

If Nikita can keep the costs under control and the limited run status doesn't impact the ratings then I wouldn't be too surprised if we got a 5th season. A 6th mind you I would guess is unlikely as the cast/crew pay rises and bonuses will make it harder for it to make financial sense
I just don't see it. There's only so long that the online distribution deals are going to save it, and now that it's hit the syndication numbers I think they'll take the opportunity, creatively, to wrap things up with the remaining episodes.

You're right though, you never know, so I should probably have not been quite so definitive in my original assessment of the chances of a fifth season.

Carrie Diaries will be canceled mid season no doubt
Might not even air until mid-season.....

The Goldbergs looks like it's good to go on ABC

Outside of the big network announcements, USA Network has announced that the forthcoming series of Burn Notice will be the last.

I never saw 24's return coming at all. Although personally 8 seasons was enough.

Really thought that one would be safe.

Probably improved the chances of Community coming back though.

Definance has been been renewed. Season 2 will have 13 episodes and begins production in August.

Poor Matthew Perry. Another cancelled show

I swear only Courteney Cox and Matt Le Blanc are the only friends who have managed a hit show since the end of friends.

Little bit gutted about Go On, I ended up really enjoying it and it was nice to have Matthew Perry back on TV again.

I'm not sure Cougar Town counts as a hit though. It's absolutely my favourite show at the moment by a huge margin (there's a good chance that I am Abed), but it's ratings have always been lacklustre and it never connected with the public.

And Cougar Town isn't really that great. I still watch it but i don't find it massively funny.

Good news about Defiance - at least it's got some legs (for now at least..)

Suppose this counts as a 'cancellation' of sorts - Burn Notice confirmed to end after Season 7

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/ustv/new...firms-usa.html

Good move - even though I do enjoy it, they were stretching the 'burnt' story right down to the last tiny strands of believability in the last season.

I adore Cougar town. I think it's one of those shows that the ratings are not good but critics love, plus it isn't doing too bad as Season 5 will be going into production in a few months time. Plus the humor of the show is just me and my friends all over

That last bit exactly. The cul-de-sac crew is everything my friends and I aspire to be. Wine, wine and more wine with great company. A group of us sit and watch it the day after it airs, wine and all.

Community's season 5 is practically a done deal according to insiders.

Please try to not give any specific spoilers, thanks. Sad it's gone as its been one of the best cop shows I've ever seen.

Don't mean to be a downer but it's looking like Happy Endings won't have one, on ABC at least.
Happy Endings fans are going to put their hopes up with the USA network.

Very disappointed in the Southland cancellation.

Pleased to here Burn Notice can come to a natural end. Hopefully it will give the last season some direction as it feels to have been treading water for a while now.

Good luck to Sarah Michelle Gellar giving another television comeback ago
I will check it out for her alone. Although I am still gutted over Ringer's cancellation.

No chance of that, I haven't seen the final episode yet, just know it ends on a cliffhanger.
