Although it does reach a wider audience being on Prime.

Here's hoping then.

Season 4 did veer into even more 'soapy' territory than previously, but that being said the last episode was good and the cliffhanger left me wanting more..

Sky Living. They own the rights to season 4 and I am sure they will buy season 5.

Universal Channel (home of fantastic Bates Motel) has picked up the UK terrestrial rights to the Golden Globe-winning Mr Robot! Yes yes yes! Been waiting a long time for a channel to pick this up and it's finally happened!

Season one premieres Thur 21st July at 9pm.

I'm hoping it will mean they'll concentrate on the music more and will make it a bit more upbeat.

Cmt moved away from music in the same way mtv did. Mainly shitty reality shows these days. Not to say they no longer play music, just a much reduced output.

The Last Kingdom will now be co-produced by Netflix. The show was originally produced by BBC and BBC America. For some reason, Netflix have taken over BBC America's duties.

Will this mean a bigger budget?

I suppose it all depends on how well season 4 does. Season 4 has still yet to air over here.

So glad Nashville has been saved, even if it's just one season to tie things up.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Nashville, will the current stars want to continue on a small network? Will there be big budget cuts? Maybe the changes will help renew it.

Well Hayden has a good excuse to leave, with her storyline and real life situation.

Hopefully Connie will stay out of loyalty to the show and fans.

I hope Claire will stay and that her storyline will be a bit more fun.

Everyone else I would like to stay but won't necessarily miss.

Connie will stay for two others reasons apart from the loyalty

She's one of the producers
She has built a life for herself and her son in nashville it's self

But the move to a small network will most likely lead to a smaller salary and not every single person coming back as a series regular

I hope Hayden comes back. Although the show is an ensemble, she steals the show for me and her maternity leave in season 3 and personal problems in season 4 really made me appreciate her role on the show. But if not, it's understandable. All depends how she feels once she leaves treatment again.

Cast news will be interesting to hear in the next few months
