So annoyed at this news but The Mindy Project has been dropped by Ch4 so it will no longer be shown on E4. Gutted. Don't think it has a UK home anywhere now.

It was saved by Hulu days later. 26 episode season 4 finished a few weeks ago and a 16 episode season 6 begins in a few months.

Amazon and Sky 1 have joined forces for a brand new show called Britannia. It will air on Sky 1 in the Uk and Amazon in the US.

Britannia is written by the multi-award winning Jez Butterworth (Jerusalem, Spectre) and stars Kelly Reilly (True Detective, Sherlock Holmes), David Morrissey (The Walking Dead, The Hollow Crown) and Zoe Wanamaker (Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, My Family). Filmed completely abroad, Britannia is set in 43AD as the Roman Imperial Army, determined and terrified in equal measure, returns to crush the Celtic heart of Britannia, a mysterious land ruled by wild warrior women and powerful Druids who can channel the powerful forces of the underworld.

I watched season 1 on Spike UK. Found it a bit of a slog to get through but I watched till the end. I thought it was ok and just okay. The only character I found interesting was Johnny Royalle. Hated Eddie Izzard's casting. Took me away from the show. I won't bother with season 2 if it airs again on Spike UK.

Excellent news, although I very much suspect it'll be the final one.

To the member who asked me about Z Nation, the two hour tv movie special premieres September 16th, followed a week later with the start of season 3.

The obvious problem with it was it was trying to be a big superhero show when it clearly didn't have the budget of say, a Netflix show, and it showed.

Also, in my 'umble opinion they used the word 'f***' far too much, seemingly every line in some places, to the point it became annoying and you wanted them to use a more varied dialogue. Preacher has too little swearing, and Powers had too much.

And they are bringing back Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) with Ten Days in the Valley. Excellent news.

Is Kyra coming back also? Love that show. I wonder how it will work with the other cast members doing Major Crimes.

No, I meant back on our screens, nothing to do with The Closer/Major Crimes. Sorry. Sgt/Detective Gabriel is in Murder in the First atm with Taye Diggs.

It leaves little to be desired. A woman's daughter goes missing and it sparks off a load of secrets and lies. What a yawn.

Duh!!! I didn't read your post properly, sorry. I got too excited when I saw Kyra Sedgwick The Closer.

HBO order a comedy anthology series called Room 104. Set in a single room of an average American hotel, ROOM 104 tells a different story of the assorted characters who pass through it in each episode. The show is by the Duplass Brothers, who previously did the two season show Togetherness.

I like the sound of that. Will keep an eye out.

According to the head of ABC, Channing Dungey

Scandal S5 was "a return to form" and said she wants Grey's Anatomy to run as long as Shonda does

She also expressed her frustration at the cancellation of Body of Proof from a few years ago.

I would love to know what show she was watching last season. Season 5 was not a return to form. The bashing from critics and the fact it lost half it's audience is a fair amount of evidence to suggest it was far from a return to form. Each to their own though.

I seriously do not get the love for shonda and any of the shows she has current on ABC, a best they are a mediocre distraction, she must have dirt on Disney/ABC.

Haha. No. Her shows earn good ratings and do really well around the world. She's a money maker. That's why ABC keep her.

I have really only got into Grays Anatomy again on AMC as I canceled Sky when the second season was starting.
I did like Body Of Proof and have seen all 3 seasons on 5USA as well as Alibi.
Have been watching Chicago Fire on 5USA and the first season ends next week. I know season 4 is on UK Living but I don't get that channel via BT TV.
