I rather enjoy this series, but I feel that ending it with season 3 may be a good thing.

Sky advertised Nashville season four this evening with the information that season 5 was confirmed as the final season. Is that true? I couldn't find it reported in that way anywhere when it was taken over to CMT.

Nothing official about season 5 being the final season just yet. In fact, when the show was revived, the producers said they hoped season 5 was the start of a few more seasons to come.

Thanks - that is what I thought, strange thing for sky to say.

I'm absolutely gutted about this Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll, it went in an uncomfortable direction but it was so damned funny it didn't matter too much. Damn.

Roadies has officially been cancelled now. We knew it was but it has been made official by Showtime.

Knew it was coming, but i'm still sad to see it go.

It just bugs me that they tacked on the very last scene in the way they did otherwise it would have easily stood as a one season standalone story.

The final episode was wonderful right up until that last 90 second bit.

The Hollywood Reporter says Mary Elizabeth Winstead has joined the cast of Fargo season 3 , implication appears to be BrainDead is dead, though it's a bit confused.

Quite strange that Vinyl was axed after one season despite a 2nd season being announced.

The renewal of Vinyl and the cancellation of Vinyl were done by two different people. Once the new guy in charge took over HBO, he reversed the decision

HBO were too hasty in renewing Vinyl anyway after only one episode. It never rated well and never had the critical acclaim to back it up like most other HBO drama's. I think the new guy knew that an originally planned season 2 reboot would of made next to no difference.

Mary bagging another job doesn't need to be an implication the show is dead. The dreadful ratings are enough proof.

Nice to hear Mary is bagging more work. She's a busy beaver. Mercy Street, Braindead, the cloverfield film and now Fargo all within the last year or so.

I adored "Vinyl" and saddened by its demise. I liked "Terra Nova" and that was cancelled after one season, too. As a kid I can recall enjoying the "Planet of the Apes" TV series. They cancelled that, mid season!
It's a conspiracy.

I'm calling 'Cancelled' on Bull, could only make it through the first 20 mins.

It's a poor man's 'Lie To Me'.

Not If it continues to beat NCIS like it did last night, I'd be skeptical that it can as reviews havn't seemed all that good with many making the same conclusions as you.

I think it will premiere well because the lead actor is still fresh from his departure off NCIS. Plus NCIS is a great lead in for any show. But god knows how it will do in the long haul

But very few people have had anything nice to say about it during the summer and there have been rumours of creative problems behind the scenes.

Yes I thought it might do well on first showing, especially with the NCIS lead in and I'm sure Michael has lots of fans that would like to see this.

We'll have to see what the drop off in ratings is like (and I'm sure it will drop).

He needs to get rid of the cardigan.
