After seeing the trailers and obviously judging them based on that back in May, I placed my cancellation bets on the following

Man with a plan
Kevin can wait
No tomorrow
Pitch
The Exorcist

I actually think the exorcist looks good but i can't see how they can drag out such a story long term and it's time slot is a cause for death anyway.

Yes sadly I agree with your list.

Kevin Can Wait is formulaic and dated, would have done well in the 90s.

I did wonder if Designated Survivor was just intended as a one season story anyway.

No, they'll stretch it out again and again if it gets enough viewers.

Just like they've done with Quantico.

and Revenge and Pretty little liars

Bit early to call out on Quantico though. This season is different to the first. It's the CIA, instead of the FBI this time. Not all the characters from season 1 are back. And there is a new big story arc.

I call it on:

Kevin can Wait - awful show, dreadful premise
Still Star-Crossed - a 'new' take on Romeo and Juliet (midseason, CW, can't see it lasting)
Notorious - they've done this sort of show based in a TV newsroom before, and done it better
Last Man Standing - think that this will be the last year for that show
MacGuyver - loved the original, Richard Dean Anderson was legend, but Lucas Till doesn't have what it takes to hold a show together yet
The Great Indoors - apparently even millennials are being insulted in this 'sitcom' starring Stephen Fry
Doubt - yet another Katherine Heigl vehicle...can't see this lasting, especially as she'll soon be needing time off for maternity leave

Still Star Crossed is actually on ABC, not CW. Although it looks like a CW show.

Sorry, my mistake. The premise, as you said, looks like a CW show. I am reminded of that godawful Reign (an insult to anyone with a basic knowledge of English/Scottish history anywhere) and the fact that it's still running beggars belief! Still think it won't last.

I love Reign and this is what appeals to me about Still Star Crossed. But i can see why some don't. But to be fair, it was never set out to be historically accurate, not in the same as other period drama shows based on real life people.

I guess my issue with it was the fact that I am a) an ex classics and history student and b) I am not really the intended/target audience. The show was never going to appeal to me, and I LOVE Megan Followes...so seeing her in this made my heart cry a little bit. That and my love of Shakespeare makes me look at this with more than a little trepidation and instincts still call 'cancellation' as ABC doesn't tolerate too much when it comes to their hour-long shows. They may well be looking to fill the holes that Castle, Agent Carter, Galavant, Mistresses, and Nashville (I know not cancelled, but no longer on the network) left, but not sure a teen show will cut it.

I did note that not many people were impressed with the whole "blind item" thing given the revelation last night if the forums and TVLine threads are anything to go by.

I reckon that will be an unexpected one. Big Bang Theory (given that the contracts of the big three are up for renewal at the end of the year), or something like NCIS (huge cast shake-up after Weatherly left), or Criminal Minds (another big cast shake-up with Shemar Moore leaving last season and Gibson being fired at the beginning of this one)..

That's a bit of an odd spoiler there little-monster, surely you'd only care if you watch the show and you wouldn't know what show it was without reading the spoiler

I didn't want to spoil the surprise for those who had yet to watch the show.

Yeah, but how does someone who watches the show know that the spoiler is about it?

Jean Claude Van Johnson could be fun. Van Damme can take the piss out of himself fairly well.
