The show did have an option for more episodes compared to the other seasons. Season 1 had 13 episodes as it was a midseason show. Season 2 had 13 episodes due to Matthew Perry doing a show on the west end. But this season, they were prepared to do a full 22 episode season. But the poor performance has put a stop to that.

I assumed that's what they were going to do, but someone somewhere thinks differently.

The Odd Couple is surely done now, its still a world away from Syndication and its numbers are really not worth carrying on with

Superior Donuts which sounds interesting will likely replace it I'd guess or they'll put that on Thursdays and move one of the Thursday shows to Monday

Superior donuts is their only other comedy they have next to premiere, so i am certain Donuts will be in TOC slot.

They also have Doubt and Training day in terms of drama. One of them will most likely go in Pure Genius slot once it air all the episodes.

CBS confirm midseason schedule. None of their midseason shows excite me. I remember saying back in the summer that CBS, FOX and The CW have the weakest set of new shows this season.

Masters of Sex has been cancelled after four seasons
I liked this show but it was becoming a chore each season. It never matched the quality of it's first season and clearly i wasn't alone as the ratings continued to decrease each year. But it got a good wrap up so i have no reason to be pissy.

Hmmm a Saturday show now thats a bold move tho didn't CBS have some success a decade or so ago with a few Saturday shows

why not I guess, every other day of the week is down, Saturday can't be much worse

Wonder if its a test to just see what the ratings are like with an eye for the future or its literally just a dump as they have too many shows and no confidence in Ransom

I suspect its the latter but either way I'm interested to just see what the ratings will be like

No surprise about TOC not being picked up. Think i said couple of weeks ago it was telling how it was the only show not given a back order after everything else had. See their at the usual though it may get a season 4. Just CANCEL these shows instead of dragging them all out its crackers.

Doubt on a wednesday think its going to be getting 1.0 so not much better than Code Black. So that may end up getting another renewal.
Training Day on a Thursday think this may get around 1.1 but dont think it will get much higher. But may do ok in Live+7.
Ransom think this is going to be a flop on a Saturday may get 0.7-0.8 if it lucky.

ABC really want Quantico to Survive. Having moved it to Monday and dumping Conviction into its Sunday slot now. If they do renew Quantico which im thinking they will now, they might as well give it a 2 season renewal and get it to syndication.

See my previous post about this, ABC are DESPERATE for Quantico to survive. It's that bad for them at the moment.

Although not quite the same, but moving NCIS:LA to Sundays after a drop in ratings has reversed its fate and turned it into a ratings success!

Not that I’m suggesting for one second that I think that’ll happen for Conviction.

How often do schedule changes actually work?

From what i have personally seen, it's very rare,

The last schedule change i recall was The Goldbergs. Season 1 wasn't a big success but ABC saw potential, renewed it for a second season and gave it a new time slot. It paid off and it is now their second highest rated comedy. But for a show like NCIS LA to have seen an increase in it's eighth season, well that's pretty much a special case in this day and age.

Am I going mad, or did I read that Rosewood had been cancelled?

Probably the first one, but it's starting to bug me now.
