I don't wish to question your madness Hamlet but i have seen no news on Rosewood. Unless you had a premonition on when it does eventually get cancelled.

How often do schedule changes actually work?
From what i have personally seen, it's very rare,
The last schedule change i recall was The Goldbergs. Season 1 wasn't a big success but ABC saw potential, renewed it for a second season and gave it a new time slot. It paid off and it is now their second highest rated comedy. But for a show like NCIS LA to have seen an increase in it's eighth season, well that's pretty much a special case in this day and age.
I agree, it’s fairly unusual for a schedule change to actually improve a show’s ratings. And if that schedule move is to a Friday, Saturday or Sunday – it’s almost unheard of in recent years.
NCIS:LA moving to Sundays and actually improving its ratings is a rare case. But I’ll add another one – CBS moved Hawaii Five-0 to Friday night after its 2nd season (I think) following disappointing ratings. But it maintained the same ratings in its new Friday slot, making it a success by Friday standards, and is currently in its 7th season. In fact it’s still doing well today, if it doesn’t get renewed for an 8th season it’ll be more to do with re-negotiating contracts that actual ratings.

Really shocked and disappointed with this cancellation.

I found this interesting regarding the cancellations of Good Girls Revolt. It's a cut and paste from some site

Like its streaming brethren, Amazon doesn’t release viewing figures for its shows. We can infer, though, that such a quick hook for “Good Girls Revolt” — it launched on Oct. 28, just five weeks ago — means that the early viewing trends were not promising.

Or maybe not? Series creator Dana Calvo tells Buzzfeed’s Kate Aurthur that her show had “twice ‘Transparent’s audience.” That’s according to figures “Good Girls Revolt” producer Sony provided her from Symphony Advanced Media, the tech company that purports to measure streaming audiences via audio recognition of shows its users watching.

Symphony estimated that Season 2 of “Transparent” averaged about 1.5 million adults 18-49 per episode within 35 days of premiere. That would mean “Good Girls Revolt” had roughly 3 million such viewers if Symphony’s figures are correct (neither Amazon nor any other streamer has ever confirmed Symphony’s numbers).

Sorry I missed that but I guess I thought you would post the two bits of news together as they were announced together as they are both about Sense8

My mistake!

It was this bit on how they measure.

Symphony Advanced Media, the tech company that purports to measure streaming audiences via audio recognition of shows its users watching.

So they are listening to what people are watching.

Obviously Netflix/Amazon know what your watching as you stream through their interface.
