I gave up after about 5 episodes with that. Just wasn't doing it for me or really getting going, but I understand it's got a second season in the US though.

They needn't have bothered, it is awful IMO

Damn Van Helsing was announced for Netflix a few weeks ago and I thought it had already been posted by someone!

Pity as I would have posted it despite the quality of the show

Is van helsing anything like the movie which I actually liked?

Nothing like it at all. It's a "re-imagining" of the story, if you will. The lead character is called "Vanessa Helsing" so you can work that one out easily enough

It's an interesting premise in that it's set in the future and she is, essentially, an "anti" vampire in that if she bites a vampire, she turns them human again, but i personally felt it was far too slow to get going and nothing really happened.

Plus anything from syfy these days is a load of rubbish but i will give it ago regardless. I like to be proved wrong. But i never am when it comes to that network.

Z nation is about the only watchable show. Defiance wasn't bad mainly because,of the good cast.

I think this is almost certain to get picked up by ABC as long as nothing goes haywire. Although its likely to be a late october start date if it does not get kept back for a mid-season start.

They need to be making some decisions on hourly shows though to put to pilot as that is what they need most. Comedy their doing well.

I guess with the confirmation that Westworld will not return to screens until 2018, it will probably be taking GOT's normal spot on the shedule that it has aired in previously. Of course GOT is going to be later next year as already announced and then final season in 2018. So can see HBO going with the 2nd season of Westworld followed by the final season of GOT.

HBO are becoming a tiny bit tiresome in delaying their shows. Showtime are becoming guilty of this as well. This is the problem when you are a network that only airs new content one day a week. I hope the longer wait for Westworld doesn't affect the ratings. It won't affect Game of thrones because it's been around longer and has a steady comfortable fanbase who will tune in wherever it airs. But for a newborn like Westworld, it is risky.

Im just going on what Demo's it is getting and what i think will happen. It has a chance of getting renewed like anything and with it being on CW it can get lower Demo's but i think it is highly unlikely along with No Tomorrow.
