Which is useless for us, we'll either still be out partying or too drunk to remember watching it.
I take your point.
But the post-SuperBowl slot is traditionally a highly regarded slot in the schedule, usually delivering a very large audience. So the fact FOX (US) have given it to the premier of 24:Legacy is quite a statement on their commitment to, and expectation of, the programme.

Wow, I wasn't expecting that. I would have put a large sum of money on Sky picking this up. It’s quite a scoop for FOX UK.
Of course we don’t know if it’ll be any good yet (I was slightly underwhelmed by the trailer).

It premiers in the US ion Sunday 5th Feb, after the SuperBowl, and then continues on Monday nights.
It looks like FOX UK are planning on airing it the day after the US.
I would have put money on SKY getting this as well. Certainly a scoop for FOX UK, of course it could fall flat. But the fact they have the behind the scenes people on it should hopefully make it reasonable.

Of course by the time FOX UK air the first episode their will have been 3 episodes shown already on FOX

I don’t think we know that for sure. And I’d expect FOX UK to be at almost US pace with something as high profile as this (like they are with The Walking Dead).

The US schedule is as follows – ep1 (SuperBowl premier) Sunday 5/02, ep2 Monday 6/02, ep3 Monday 13/02, and so on...
The UK schedule is unconfirmed (apart from the start date) so we could see – ep1 and ep2 on Tuesday 14/02, ep3 Tuesday 21/02, and so on...
Meaning we’d be a week (and a day) behind the US. Although the fact FOX UK have scheduled it for a Tuesday, and it airs on a Monday in the US, makes me think they might even try and arrange it so that we’re just a day behind the US.

I think FOX UK will air it 1 epsiode a week, but i fully expect FOX to have a missing week during its run or two. Which will mean FOX UK will catch up and probably end up airing the final episode the day after it has aired on FOX or at the latest a week later. I dont know for certain but i suspect that is what will happen.

Just a bit of a heads up and off topic from above
But anyone who likes Madonna, showtime are airing a two concert of hers tonight.

I am going to try and stay up to watch it.

Showtime normally renew Showtime very early but then i wondered if expired contracts were holding it up. Fair play to her though. She deserves all what she asks for. And she entitled to it imo. She is the female lead after all. I hope it works out. because she would be a massive loss to the show.

I'm on Emmy's side. And not just because I'm a little bit in love with her. She deserves at least equal pay with Macy.

I totally agree that she should get it and hopefully they will see sense and give it her.

I'm just watching the series 'Felicity' and he worked too. Quite a change to his scifi stuff.

Well JJ Abrams has a television and movie company called Bad Robots so if his company chooses to get involved in producing them, then he gets an automatic credit, even if he doesn't actually have any involvement in the shows himself. Plus with his name attached, it can make the project have a bigger chance in having interest in the project being given a greenlight.

Down in The Valley. Crime drama from ABC, so it'll die in record time so don't get too excited.

Down in the valley sounds like a remake of Happy Valley aimed at manic depressives.

I assume this is not a US version of the Sally Wainwright UK hit?

Absolutely no idea at all. It was just mentioned by spoilertv.com via Twitter. But my assessment was based on ABC's current success or lack there of in relation to dramas the last couple of years.

Forever, Conviction etc.

Got to say loved this. Are we running bets it gets picked up for 13 episodes, then gets cut to 10 and bows out with 0.5
