What Scandi-noir are you planning on watching?

I saw the first season of The Killing and thought it was brilliant - however struggled to get into the second and haven't got round to watching it past the 3 episode. Loved the first two seasons of the Bridge but struggled again with the third. Borgen was brilliant throughout.

I watched 'Occupied' on Netflix recently - not quite up to the standard of the above but very enjoyable.
I have S3 of The Bridge, Trapped (started but lost track of it) and Blue Eyes (ditto) all on my Tivo waiting to be watched. The thing with these Scandi shows is that you have to pay good attention to them. They are no good for sticking on when you get back from the pub.

I loved Borgen. If anyone had suggested that I would become addicted to a subtitled show about Danish coalition politics I would have said they were insane but somehow it just worked perfectly.

Most of the Scandi shows work for me, but I must say that 'Modus' that's currently being shown on BBC4 on Saturday nights has been a total bore and waste of time as far as I'm concerned.

I have not watched it myself. However the producers have known that it was going to end so have written it to a satisfying conclusion according to them.

Not sure if this has already been posted but the spin off series from Agents Of SHIELD which is called Slingshot is available on YouTube via the Marvel Entertainment channel and doesn't seem to be restricted to America

It's only 6 episodes that are 5 minutes long but they are all available now!

Young Pope appears to have been renewed although their does not seem to have been any official confirmation. Some members of the cast have however said on German tv that they begin shooting next may.

The Honeymooners - CBS Rebooting 1950's Sitcom

http://www.spoilertv.com/2016/12/the...ing-1950s.html

I dont see how this can work properly because im sure things that were classed as funny in the 50's would not possibly be allowed to be done today.

Somewhere Between, murder mystery ordered for Summer showing by ABC. Catch it quick, it'll be gone before you notice.

A mother has a premonition her daughter will be murdered, can't stop it. Has to...... yadda yadda yadda.

I'm going to have two weeks off work from next week - and i'm not even pretending to myself that i'm going to do anything productive - so am ready to start a few more series.

I had an amazing run with Scandi drama until 'The Legacy', which I found extremely dull.

Trapped looks good. I really should watch season 2 of the killing though.

Not Scandi, but do not go near Paranoid. It's an embarrassment for every single one of the actors.

It won't be done well. However, the same idiots watching The new Odd Couple will watch The new Honeymooners.

Incredible. Shameless has been renewed. Incredible.

I find shameless a bit odd in that I've watched up to season 5 and think its one of the best written and acted shows on TV, however I have no interest in watching it anymore.

As one of the small but dedicated band of Paranoid watchers now hoping for at least a sin-off may I say that I would appreciate it if you left it for others to make decisions for themselves! I don't know why you think it incumbent upon you to assume this godlike censorship role but please stop! I probably wouldn't touch many of your viewing choices with a bargepole but I am somehow able to restrain myself from telling you to cease and desist!
