The Killing has been cancelled by AMC for a second time. The show was cancelled after its second season last year only to be resurrected for a third season in a deal between Fox Television Studios (which produced the show) AMC and Netflix. The third season finale aired on August 4, 2013.

Was the storyline resolved in the season 3 finale?

Yes as far as I remember. They might have snuck the odd tease in for the future but I can't recall any to be honest and there's no big holes as to the season's story

They planned from the point of renewal to wrap the story in one season so they were well prepared

No, ha ! I asked a few days ago if there was any news on it, and no one quoted me, so I assumed there was no news

Didn't know burn notice was ending until I saw it on geektown. Gonna miss it.
I didnt either till just now when I read your post.

I need to stay away from this thread. It's a bit depressing to see how many of my favourites are cancelled.
I only come on for a look a few times a week but have now discovered urn Notice is being cancelled

Burn Notice has had a good run. It was getting a bit samey, so hopefully now they can give it a good send off.
Agreed, theres only so many story lines they can do before they start going over old ground, is a shame its going but its had a very good run.

The last-ever episode of Burn Notice was shown a few days ago in the USA. Beware of googling the show as spoilers leap out.

I enjoyed Whitney as well - it did pick up a lot as it progressed through the second season. Maybe one more and it could have really found an audience.

I watched the 1st season on Viva and liked it enough to catch up on line with the 2nd season.

BBC America has axed Copper after two seasons.

Glad I didn't bother with season 2.

Just saw this.

Had been losing interest in Season 2 (only watched last Sundays show tonight) but probably would have carried on watching Season 3.

I didn't think Camp would last the season.

It's ending with a fourth season? That's just stupid, they need 8 seasons to get to syndication. Maybe Elijah Wood is too expensive...

Edit: It's got awful ratings for last season, down from crap ratings to begin with. Nice of them to give it a final season.

I love Wilfred. BBC3 have the rights to Season 3 so looking forward to them showing that soon. Hopefully before the end of the year. Be nice if they buy the rights to the last season too.

They focused too much on poo and weed jokes, IMO.

They need to make sure the last season ties up the 'Who or what is Wilfred?' question.

Fox just announced that they have renewed Sleepy Hollow for season two, but it doesn't look like they are going to go past 13 episodes for this season (no order for a "back nine").
