That's ominous. It makes me think someone higher up in company, just got round to seeing the pilot and decided it just doesn't work.
I actually watched The Goodwin Games & enjoyed it, I thought it was better than a lot of what FOX did put out last year

Us & Them has had it's order cut. It was given 13 episodes but FOX have ended production after only 7 episodes. Apparently they have told the cast and crew to already look for other work

Very worrying considering it hasn't aired
It's a remake of Gavin & Stacey so you don't really need to watch it!

If Us and them gets awesome ratings, then I guess Fox will be kicking themselves

Didn't realise that - assumed E4 had bought Season 3.

Glad it's been renewed anyway - it's a nice, easy show to watch and often quite amusing as well.

Might email C4 to see what the rights situation is - if they haven't bought it, I might have to "go US pace" ..

That's good, I quite like 'The Crazy Ones' and 'The Millers', haven't given 'Mom' ago yet.

I predicted Ironside had no chance.

It's a shame really as I did hope it would give Spencer Grammer a chance to do a more serious role.

Someone on neogaf works on Drop Dead Diva which airs on the Lifetime network. They posted this:

Just absolutely shat the bed. Witches didn't do too much better.

This is what happens when you pull a show off the air midseason and attempt to relaunch it 2 months later with three 30-second promos and 2 guest appearances on daytime talk shows. You can't just say "well split seasons worked for Breaking Bad!" when the promo campaign for shows that split seasons like that treat the shows like they're new seasons to raise viewer awareness. If your own core audience doesn't even know you're back and you're in the toughest timeslot of the week, you can't just expect to do well because "it worked for Breaking Bad" without understanding why it works for those shows.

**** off, Lifetime. I have no ****ing interest in any of this promo bullshit or executive crap, but Jesus, who didn't see this coming? And we're launching your new show! We're your lead in! Lead ins matter! And you just crippled your lead out by spending no money on promotion on your night's anchor.

I didn't mean to inject my own personal story into this. But I think most people in this thread could run this network better.
Summary: Some cable networks are as bad as "Big 4" and midseason breaks isn't needed for all shows.

Brooklyn 99 has been given a full season order
Despite being their lowest rated show, The CW have given ANTM a 21st cycle season.

Beauty and the Beast has the honour of being The CW's lowest rated show now. Plus ANTM is a cheap reality show, so not surprised.

still waiting on "Low Winter Sun". Although to be fair, I think even if it is renewed, I've left it long enough to really not be all that bothered if i start watching it again - I didn't really understand what was going on in the first place !!

Hostages is still hanging in there but only just. It's ratings have levelled out at just over 5 million for the last few weeks which places it behind all other shows that night on CBS, NBC, ABC & FOX. Only cable series & The CW which traditionally rate lower are behind Hostages in the ratings for the night.
