Note to Clone Wars fans; later this year Dark Horse comics will be releasing a canon mini series that concludes Clone Wars story. Can't believe Disney just cancelled this without any conclusion, especially while episodes were actually being made. It was its last season anyway, such disrespect for their fans. Tut tut Disney.

nothing surprising for disney, they did say less politics more action in the next film, not surprising with JJ at the helm.

Was pretty annoyed when tron uprising got cancelled without any conclusion. Apparently one of the most expensive animated shows produced, it could form the basis for a potential 3rd film.

Should mention I guess that Avatar the last airbender has been cancelled, not surprising really. They didn't even both making the second movie of the original series.

Does anyone know what will happen to Revolution? Ratings seem to be terrible

No idea, but if it had been cancelled or renewed, it would of been posted here already

TV By the Numbers have it down as cancellation predicted which is a shame as i still quite like it. I just hope they have a chance to at least wrap it up if it does get binned.

I never liked it really but i hope it does get some closure for those who do like it

I think the only shows i am really worried about this season is Almost Human and Nashville.

I doubt the politics in the show was the major issue, more the politics of the show, notably the fact that it aired on Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. has distribution rights...

Tron: Uprising didn't do very well, my guess is the Tron brand just didn't connect with the intended audience.

As has been expected, TNT announces there will be no second season for Mob City.

Larry Teng (a writer/producer/director) of various episodes of US shows including Elementary has tweeted this

Quote:
“Larry Teng ‏@larryteng 2h
Congrats to my friends over at #Elementary ... Picked up for two more years! @jonnyjlm @LucyLiu”

I havn't seen any official announcement or anything else but seems a good source

2 years as well, though a 3rd season almost 99% guaranteed a 4th its nice to have it confirmed beforehand as well.

Constant mid season breaks can easily kill a series i mean Revolution needed all those breaks WHY?????

Anyone know about Hart of Dixie? With it moving to a Fri night, it's not looking good.

I'm sure Season 1 of Revolution went on a rather large break after only about 4 episodes while they "re-tooled" it, or whichever buzzword the execs used.

But you're right, it does a show no good to keep going off and on like that. People will just lose interest.

Good news about Elementary if it turns out to be true.

It's likely to get a fourth season for syndication purposes.

I hope that it is true about Elementary. But there is zero news about it anywhere. But a two season pick up doesn't suprise me, again, mainly for syndication purposes.

Looking on geektown it shows the mentalist in the danger zone. Don't know if it means it'll be axed but it seems now red john story is over viewers have switched off.

Its actually the opposite

Its ratings were quite low between a 1-3.-1.6 most weeks, the RJ finale saw a boost and ratings have remained steady at the higher points since.

Its chances have increased since the RJ reveal IMO as it was looking bleak

Its still seems to be one of the Good Wife or The Mentalist for the axe with Good Wife still slightly more likely to be renewed but The Mentalist has clawed back and still got plenty of time to continue the resurgence once it returns from the Olympic break.

Such a shame! ... Granted the 1st few episodes of Dracula were like watching paint dry (storyline wise) but it really picked up afterwards!

if ya don't hook the audience @ the very beginning you'll never recover! ... The damage was already done!

It seems the guy who is in charge of CBS has renewed The Big Bang Theory for an eight season and confirmed it in a press conference. But still seems to be a question mark though.

Not sure if it has been mentioned.
I have been watching Detriot 1-8-7 on ABC on demand, and it is actually very watchable. ABC cancelled it, due to ratings, but I would love them to bring it back, a number of unanswered questions have been left.

That was cancelled nearly three years ago.

I’d probably add Hawaii Five O and Blue Bloods into that CBS potential axe list. Both have now reached the point required for syndication and are expensive to make while pulling in very average ratings (that admittedly look a bit better when you consider they are on a Friday). But I admit I’d put The Mentalist and The Good Wife at the top of the axe list, with Hawaii Five O and Blue Bloods at the bottom of the list. Those are the 4 dramas I think CBS are currently looking long and hard at.

Might just be me but I find the US rating/share system overly complicated but, then, I've never really spent time looking into it. The Mentalist US viewing figures started at 9.7 million this season, peaked at 10.9 million on ep8 and haven't fallen below 9.5 million viewers since...

Look at the last ep of The Mentalist on Jan. 12th - it got a rating of 1.8 with a 5% share and 9.58 million viewers, 10pm slot.
The Simpsons got a higher rating, 2.2, with a 5% share but the actual viewers were 4.83 million... As far as I'm concerned less people watched The Simpsons but due to the time slot difference and folk switched on it got a higher rating?

Blue Bloods is without a doubt safe. Neither that or Five 0 are in danger. Blue Bloods delivers 10-12 million a week and the demos are brilliant. Hardly average. It's most recent episode earned 14 million viewers when combined with DVR as well. Plus it is the number 1 show on Friday, the weakest day of the week any show can ever air on.

Blue Bloods has already been signed for Syndication, starting next fall.

The Mentalist will likely be cancelled but The Good wife will be given a final sixth season, or perhaps both will be goners.

Taking away the shows already mentioned, in terms of dramas, CBS are now left with CSI, Person of interest, Both NCIS shows, Elementary and Intelligence. Intelligence is doing terrible and is their lowest rated show at the moment so that is a goner. The others are all strong performers.
