Yes Hawaii and Blue Bloods are the 2 lowest shows but airing on a Friday gives them a big pass in comparison, Sunday is also a tough day these days but not as bad as Fridays
Blue Bloods has just signed a syndication deal and its ratings are good for a friday whilst its demos could be better admittedly, its total viewers are huge for a 10PM Friday show
Hawaii has been a big hit on a Friday and seeing how Hostages and Intelligence have bombed in the monday shot against The Blacklist its Move may have helped the show.
I'd be Hugely surprised if one them is axed this year, CBS fridays will be the same lineup next year.

supernatural .. hhmmm. I'm a fan of the show but it's starting to feel like they're stretching it far, far too long. I know it's the CW's main 'big' show but story wise, what haven't they done on it?

Maybe I should have been clearer in my original post, but I was referring to the demo ratings, not the overall viewership ratings. A show can get 10-12 million viewers a week, but its it’s demos aren’t good then it WILL be axed. Blue Bloods has never had good demos, even though its overall ratings are quite good.
As for your point about syndication, once a programme gets to the 100 (approx) episode mark its syndication status is achieved. If ratings aren’t good after that then they are usually axed. That’s why an number of programmes get to the 4 season mark but are axed soon afterwards.
But following your post and others, I concede that actually its future is probably safe due to the fact its demo rating, while not good in general, is good for Friday nights. Plus CBS have bigger ratings problems and those shows will be the ones facing the axe.
What you really want on a Friday night is something like Shark Tank on ABC – high viewership ratings, good demo ratings and very cheap to produce.

Revolution took too long to explain things.
I wish TV Shows would learn the lesson that going too slow will just kill the series.

Mulholland Drive was originally going to be a tv series before it became a film. Last I heard Lynch had quit tv/film but I've not followed him religiously for a while.

I don't think they know where they were going, they were making it up as they go along.
The nanites are almost God like in power and perhaps too big for the show.

One problem I have with the show, as much as I enjoy it still, is that their 'quest' in Season 1 was the wrong choice. The premise of the show meant that any attempt to turn the lights back on was always going to fail - it basically defeats the whole point of the show.
Ending Season 1 in the way they did really didn't give them a lot of places to go I feel.
Maybe if they'd have had the big reveal at the end of season one that rachel was partly responsible for the blackout and that she could turn the lights back on, it would have given them something to work with.
What bugged me about S1 was all that "must save the boy" arc which was just so darn lame. Firstly, it was his actions that got his dad killed, and secondly, well I don't really need a secondly cos the firstly part turned me right off him and every time they switched to showing us another scene of him moaning I'd reach for the fast-forward button.

I'd be able to love this show MUCH more if it wasn't for the fact that all the main stars have EXACTLY the same hair colour - for realz.
