I've started watching OUAT at US Pace now - it's clearly not going to be picked up by another UK broadcaster unfortunately.

They've renewed 'The Following'????!!!!

Pleased about Brooklyn 99 - it seemed touch and go for a while but I'm glad they're giving it a chance.

Thankfully i did stop watching after Season 1

boo, meh, yay and yay.

Brooklyn 9-9 is a really odd one seems to win more awards then it gets viewers, but hey I really enjoy it.

The Following is a bit iffy at times but i love the leads and it can still shock occasionally.

Yet the entire thing shows the new low levels that get renewals at Fox, massively down on a few years ago.

Surprised, but so very pleasantly so, at The Mindy Project's renewal. Absolutely fantastic show.

Are you kidding? I'm loving the change, the old format was becoming stale and needed shaking up.
Love Archer
I must admit I preferred Archer,I'm still enjoying Archer Vice though
I saw a speculative post on another forum suggesting they should do a "Prison Break" season next after Archer Vice.
That could be awesome

I'd be well up for something like that, could lead to alsorts of hilarity with Pam and Carol/Cheryl loving it.
Have loved Pam so much this season, her habit has been funny as hell

I've read somewhere that Kevin Williamson sees The Following as 3 season series so maybe it's the last?

Great news about B-99, love that show

Hope they pair it with something a bit more compatible next season on FOX and it might improve ratings wise.

Still good news, is that Fox done for renewals now? with Bones, Glee and Sleepy Hollow already renewed previosuly its just leaves Almost Human as the only show left that has a chance of renewal now but its odds just came down a bit I'd say

Almost Human seems to be Almost Gone! Given that Fox made the big announcement about the majority of their other shows that were on the bubble or question marked for some reason, the lack of an announcement isn't good news for the show. I've expected that it would be cancelled for some time.

Great news about B99 - that Golden Globe win saved this show, I'm certain. It's not a great ratings performer, and could have easily gone the way of Dads. Incidentally, the fact that they (basically, to all intents and purposes) cancelled Dads so early seemed to also have been Mindy's saving grace. Fox have a very thin pipeline now - having opted out of the pilot season - and they simply can't afford to lose anything they absolutely don't need to. But mostly, I love B99, and am just so happy they renewed. It goes to show that ratings numbers aren't everything, these days. Those Nielsen figures are flawed in all kinds of ways, given the way people consume TV shows is so different, even from just a few years ago. I look forward to them updating this system (can't come too soon IMO), and let it reflect what is actually being watched on the different platforms.

And, as for B99, I hope that it follows the same trajectory as Parks and Recs, which is made by the same people, IIRC. That show didn't really get going until season 2, has never been a big show, but does so well with media perception, rather than raw ratings numbers. It's certainly been a good choice for NBC to keep the show going, and they're into their 6th season now, and looking solid for a 7th season renewal.

Also, looks like we're getting to the business end of renewal season - expect to see a lot more announcements from the other networks pretty soon.

I am shocked about The Mindy Project and The Following being renewed
I think that pretty much means Dads and Raising Hope are goners

Really worried about Almost human now. But i know FOX are having meetings about it and it is looking good. They may be trying to work something out. Karl Urban has a lot of films in the pipeline so maybe they are trying to work out something to schedule it around then. If it does comeback, it won't be 22 episodes, because Karl Urban's schedule will likely not permit it.

Great to see that THE MINDY PROJECT has been renewed. It's a real gem of a show and just improves with each season.

US channel E! (love the exclamation mark) has greenlit their very first drama series, picking up their pilot The Royals. It will debut in 2015, and is about a fictional British royal family. Elizabeth Hurley is playing the Queen -- Queen Helena.

Anyone who likes 'Ground Floor' I'd recommend the new comedy 'Spun Out'.

They are very similar in style.

Sounds like ITV's The Palace.

Sounds really trash but considering this is the network where it's highest rated show is The Kardashians, it could be rather good. But my god, Liz Hurly has to be one of the worst actresses in the history of acting. The only decent thing she ever did in her career was date Hugh Grant. Lucky cow.

Still no news on The Mentalist or The Good Wife.

I think The Mentalist is a goner, but The Good Wife has to survive one more season surely. The combined syndication deals should take care of that.

Both FOX and CW have done early renewals over the last 2/3 weeks. I am sure CBS will do some as well. If either one of those shows don't make it to next season, i hope for the sake of fans there is a proper series finale.
