The 2nd season of helix won't be arriving until winter 2015 though, which leads me to believe it was only intended to be a one season story, so getting a 2nd season will take longer
Helix isn't on Channel 5 in the UK anymore now though, is it?

They moved it to 5 USA after only a few episodes if memory serves. Seems unlikely they'll pick up any second season.

Jason, i would give Wonderland a good go. Reagardless of cancellation, the upcoming finale was planned as a proper wrap up anyway. So you know when watching it, you won't be wasting your time on being left with a cliffhanger.

Yeah I may well do, thanks. Should have The Walking Dead out of the way by Monday, so just got to work on Supernatural then. And the dozen other shows I also record .. heh

So Person of Interest Season 4 which C5 will likely show in 2016 ..

But hooray as well for that, CSI, H5O, Blue Bloods, Elementary, 2 Broke Girls and Two and a Half Men.

Just hope Grace Park decides to leave H5O so that Michelle Borth can replace her ..
Michelle Borth not returning to H5O for Season 5...

Yeah I know - posted that in the H50 thread myself (and inadvertedly annoyed another poster by giving a fairly obvious clue as to who was leaving ).

It's a shame as i think her character is much more watchable than Grace Park's.

Reading that link, it made me laugh that apparently "her character doesn't have anything to do any more". What the bloody hell does Kono do apart from say "Cuz.." every 5 seconds ?.

They stopped airing it mid-season, saying it would be back "later in the year". They then released a statement saying it would come back on 5*.

I actually quite liked the show, but a second season?!

Was surprised to hear that it would be back for a 2nd season IMO.

Thanks for clarification.

Yes - they did say they had no plans to pick any more episodes up, I think. Something along those lines.

Thanks for replying BTW.

TV doesn't even bother to hide the fact that its all about advertising and not at all about entertainment.

I watched Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and found it to be a fresh, intelligent and engaging drama. Yet it was cancelled at the end of series 2, leaving the story untold after loyal viewers invested so much time in it.

Then you see the same old shite like Idol, X Factor, The Voice etc constantly rehashed year after year after year...

Terminator's ratings were awful. It was an expensive show. FOX barely made any money from it. I agree, it was fresh, enagaging and intelligent. It's not like that FOX got rid of it for no reason. The producers knew early on it with the ratings it had, it would be cancelled. They had every opportunity to provide us with at least some sort of series finale. But no they didn't.

I loved the 1st season of TSCC but the 2nd season was a waste of time! ... iirc the rating where pretty much non-existent by the time season2 finished! ... I don't blame Fox for dumping TSCC!

None. It was a ratings flop and looks as dead as Drac himself

Then why doesn't NBC just tell folk it's cancelled then? ... I'm sick of checking out the net for info!

(& could S2 appear on netflix or Amazon or is it 2 expensive?)

Depends on interest. People do seem to assume that whenever a show is axed, Netflix will pick it up but Netflix won't.

NBC will likely announce it's fate in May, when they announce the upfronts.

I imagine she probably only had a short term deal anyway and being promoted to series regular to cover for Grace Park didn't automatically come with a contract extension.

Who knows? Just a real shame she's moving on.

Nurse Jackie has been given a seventh season, with the sixth season even yet to air. Brilliant. Very happy.

That's good to know. I remember starting to watch Season 5 on Sky Atlantic a few weeks back and I thought "hang on, this seems familiar". I realised i'd watched it last year at "US Pace" when I was with Virgin briefly

Welcome to Sweden renewed for a second season before it premieres this summer on NBC

NBC will debut the comedy on July 10, after acquiring the US broadcast rights in October.

Welcome to Sweden is based on Greg Poehler's life, and follows Bruce (Greg Poehler), who falls in love with Swedish girl Emma (Josephine Bornebusch), and decides to relocate to the country to be with her.

Ileana Douglas, Patrick Duffy and Lena Olin also star in the comedy.

Amy Poehler, Will Ferrell, Aubrey Plaza and Gene Simmons appear in cameo roles during the first season.
