Game of Thrones has been renewed for Seasons 5 & 6.

Have HBO ever done that for a show before?

Lena Dunham made comments on Alec Baldwin's interview show Here's the Thing implying Girls was renewed for a second and third season at the same time (the interview aired before the third season had been announced), however it wasn't confirmed whether HBO had ordered both seasons at the same time and announced one after the other or if HBO renewed it separately twice...

Good news about Game of Thrones. I always record all the episodes and watch them over the course of a couple of days in a big marathon session. I suspect i'll have to work harder to avoid spoilers now since the show seems to be getting a lot more mainstream coverage.

Am I being rather obvious, but there are massive spoilers for the next two or three seasons......IN THE BOOKS....

Cheers.

I had a vague thought that True Blood had been but I guess not.

Welcome to Sweden renewed for a second season before it premieres this summer on NBC

NBC will debut the comedy on July 10, after acquiring the US broadcast rights in October.

Welcome to Sweden is based on Greg Poehler's life, and follows Bruce (Greg Poehler), who falls in love with Swedish girl Emma (Josephine Bornebusch), and decides to relocate to the country to be with her.

Ileana Douglas, Patrick Duffy and Lena Olin also star in the comedy.

Amy Poehler, Will Ferrell, Aubrey Plaza and Gene Simmons appear in cameo roles during the first season.
Cripes... I will have to catch this now!!

I don't know, I don't watch True Blood, so I can't help you there.

As the seasons go on there are more and more differences with the novels so... not necessarily...

Regarding Revolution, is there any word on whether the show will have a proper ending? Don't want to start watching it only to find out it'll end on a cliffhanger.

Same with The Walking Dead. Huge differences between the graphic novels and the tv show.

Some of that is to do with production difficulties though, and I'd heard they were broadly following the comics but at a significantly different pace, is this not the case? (I'm considering reading the comics, and if they're exactly the same as the series, I may not bother)

There are big differences, some people alive in the books are dead in the series and vice versa.

Not yet, but from what I've read it's almost certain.

I suspect they will end 'Revolution' with everyone meeting up in a church, or is it heaven?

Nurse Jackie has been given a seventh season, with the sixth season even yet to air. Brilliant. Very happy.
Very happy about this although disappointed that Coop isn't going to be in season 7

It will end on a cliffhanger...and not come back, most likely.
Although, will the failure of Crisis and Believe, it lowers NBC's scripted drama average..
So Revolution actually has more of a chance now that they have failed.

It's a shame about 'Crisis' I was quite liking it. It was just this side of silly to be enjoyable.

Didn't get past the first episode of 'Believe'.

I think 'Revolution' needed to decide what it was going to be. Scifi or post apocalyptic drama. But instead it ended up as neither.

Season 2 of Revolution is a VAST improvement on Season 2. I actually make the effort to watch it immediately after it airs in the us

CRISIS is great imo. Its certain to be cancelled after its 13 episode run, but the creator has said everything will be wrapped up by the finale and there will only be a little tease for a possible second season.
