Comedy wise, I wouldn't be surprised if they renew The Odd Couple since it's CBS owned but of course we need to see ratings first before a decision is made. Mike and Molly I think will be renewed perhaps for a final season since Melissa McCarthy has a busy career with films.
I think they'll keep her until Melissa McCarthy's contract expires. Rumour has it she asked to be released and was told no...

Typical, The only 2 new shows i've enjoyed this season (Stalker, Forever) probably wont be back. Its a shame as I think both have got great potential.

Amazon Prime Instant Video debuting its first original drama series called Bosch next month and available to view in the UK.

A 10-episode season based on Michael Connelly’s best-selling Harry Bosch series. Bosch stars Titus Welliver as the lead plus Lance Reddick, Annie Wersching, Sarah Clarke, Jason Gedrick, Jamie Hector and Amy Aquino.

Bosch follows the eponymous character, a relentless LAPD homicide detective as he pursues the killer of a 13-year-old boy while standing trial in federal court on accusations that he murdered a suspected serial killer in cold blood.

iZombie looks like it's basically Tru Calling with Zombies and no Eliza Dushku. I see no good.

I wasn't keen on Tru Calling. Even Dushku couldn't keep that show interesting.

I'm willing to give iZombie a go though.

It'll be interesting whether they go through with The Atom series because Flash has done fantastic business but Atom not exactly a known superhero and might come across as an Ant-Man clone despite not being one.

I do wonder if there is any other CBS or WB brands that The CW could develop beyond DC, Charmed would be a good one if it a bit recent since it's CBS owned or perhaps Star Trek although I suspect if that returns to TV, it'll be on CBS.

I would like to see them do a comedy block maybe pairing Whose Line with a sitcom and Jane The Virgin.

Madam Secretary seems like the likely successor to The Good Wife. I think Stalker is a goner, the others on the bubble are CSI and Hawaii Five-0. If Cyber does well, CSI will be axed.

According to geektown stalker is 75% chance of renewal yet tvbynumbers say certainty to be cancelled so don't know which to believe. Hope it does get another season because I like it.

Stalker is almost certainly a goner, Its was the only one of the 3 new shows not renewed the other day, it has had it episode order trimmed and finishes early and is not a CBS owned show.

Its odds are about 15% I'd say but even that is being generous.

Gotham was really a no-brainer I guess, due to the Batman connection. I gave it a couple of episodes but I just found I really wasn't interested in it - didn't grab me in any way.

Really pleased Brooklyn 99 has got a third season though.

There's just no way renewing Empire after two episodes ends well.

Gotham being renewed isn't a surprise given that it was the only bright spot of their Fall line-up. I too am happy to see Brooklyn Nine-Nine renewed even if I'm not convinced they should have.

I'm not saying it hasn't started big (it has) but its two episodes in. You want me to list of the number of shows that started big and then spectacularly crashed and burned? Its two episodes in (and the second episode was utterly terrible creatively).

It's the only drama of the season to grow for it's second episode, it was getting renewed, no matter how far it sank...

Never mind "this season." I honestly can't remember the last time a new US drama actually improved in the ratings from episode 1 to episode 2. I think the show is terrible, but there is no question it has connected with a demographic that I am very far from being part of.

Erm... didn't Forever grow from episode one to two?

(I don't remember how they settled after the revised numbers were issued though).

My point with Empire though is that its far too soon to be renewing it. We've seen networks do this a lot in recent years. Something debuts big and they get very excited about it and then by week 6 and 7 the numbers have nose dived and suddenly the networks are faced with a second season of horrible numbers. You've got to let these new shows settle in and they don't do that in two episodes.

Not according to THR. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/liv...ne-nine-764534

And Fox have cancelled season orders before, they can do it again. It comes from 20th Century Fox Television, so they're doing a corporate sibling a solid...

I can't be bothered to search for the revised numbers right now (so they might have changed) but Forever had a 1.7 for episode one and a 1.8 for episode two. Admittedly episode one aired on a Monday and episode two on the Tuesday but still.

With Empire and How To Get Away With Murders, I guess networks will go for pilots with a heavily diverse cast.

Are you kidding? Gotham is in my opinion very good.
On another note does anyone know when the next series of Hawaii five-0 starts?

And then watch all of them fail (because all they have going for them is 'look how diverse we are') and convince the networks not to do it again for years.

I enjoyed the pilot of The man in the high castle.

I hope they make a full series of it.
