There does seem to be a trend of cancelled shows being picked up but I hope fans of shows that do get cancelled realise these are the exceptions, a show with truly awful ratings isn't going to be renewed unless it's in special circumstances.”

Great news for me!

I really enjoy the show and I was annoyed that it was cancelled leaving a cliff hanger ending.

From Dan Harmon's discussions about Community, when Yahoo! revived it, they also brought a chunk of the show, so I'm wondering if A&E did the same thing and are hoping to make some money from that.”

If season 4 performs well, i could see the show sticking around until it hits syndication. 48 episodes are in the bag already. Add the 13 that have been ordered, that's now 61. That leaves 27 episodes left to hit 88 episodes.

Sony have been known to go to great lengths to make the figures work. But I'd imagine it's on it's last chance at A&E, if it fails now, I'd say it isn't coming back.

CBS aren't involved in making the show so I wonder if A&E has taken over as producer.

Cyber has Fat Neil from Community! Guaranteed success.

Beauty and The Beast Renewed for a fourth season. In an unusual way, the production company have confirmed the renewal, not The CW, but an official press release should be released today.

Banshee renewed for a fourth season, only 8 episodes instead of 10 though.
Still good news for fans of the show

Apparently its all a hoax, CW say no decision has been made on the status of the show thus far.

Not sure what is going on, either someones jumped the gun somewhere or has come to the wrong conclusion on some info.

Very bizarre,

even weirder is apparently the renewal is now official.

I agree

Nearly everything has been renewed, all without seeing how their new midseason shows do

Story on DS confirming Beauty renewal, such an odd decision. What is it that is keeping the show on air? It's figures were really low (even for CW), I just don't understand the decision. Both Tomorrow People and Carrie did better last year........

B&B is my absolute guilty pleasure. I can't tell you why I like it, though, it's really strange.

You mention it a lot

I don't blame you. I am still pissed over Ghost whisperer's cancellation. I could go on and on about that as well

We should set up a cancellation support group

”

Thank god I'm not the only one! I will never get over that I wish they'd bring it back

BATB is all about CBS bolstering the episode count for syndication.

At this rate it wouldn't surprise me if they do a similar thing with Heart of Dixie and give it a short final season.

They ruined the show getting rid of the boyfriend then bringing him back in that silly way.

It was her husband, and I thought the reincarnation story was fantastic. But i can see why people didn't like it.
