I watched the first episode of I Live With Models, oh my god, BIG mistake! It is absolutely f*cking awful. One of the worst things i have ever seen in my entire life. I managed 15mins before i switched off, it was that painful. There is nothing funny about it, the jokes are terrible and the comedy is woeful. No one can act!!! Basically a big pile of shit. Unbelievable how crap like this gets commissioned and paid for.

As a fan of US sitcoms, I have learned to not let the first episode of a show judge the series.

Take Selfie, featuring Karen Gillan (the hot redhead from Doctor Who), the first couple of episodes were poor, but the later episodes were actually quite good.

Am I right in thinking that it was still sadly axed?

Yes, it may have got slightly better but it still wasn't that good, and I say that as a fan of Karen's.

Not surprised about I Live With Models, even seeing the adverts on Comedy Central make me cringe. I didn't have high hopes for it as a comedy so didn't bother watching. Looks like my suspicions were correct. It really is as bad as it looks.

Grey's Anatomy and Scandal are shoe ins for renewal. Agent Carter, hard to tell though.

I think Agent Carter may get a second season. It's ratings were averag-ish. I predict another eight episode season, to bridge the gap between SHIELD having it's season split in two again.

Same here. There are 'little' shows I sometimes don't thinking about watching because I've got too many shows to watch that surprise me when they are finally shown on UK TV.

The same thing happened with 'Mellisa and Joey'. But thankfully it doesn't take long to catch up with them and it is a nice bonus to see them in one go sometimes.

I too hope Agent Carter gets a second chance if only to get Hayley Atwell into those 40's fashions. once more.....

From what I've seen Agent Carter looks to be in a degree of trouble, but people are optimistic that it might be saved by the Marvel connection or turned into an anthology series focussing on a different superhero each year.

TV By the Numbers has been doing a special conspiratorial post, as it's work for the CW is basically done. The theorising in the comments seems to be that The CW is now looking at Netflix and online streaming as the new syndication, and several parts of The CW's Netflix deal have led to them making decisions that ordinarily seem strange.

The CW's Netflix deal means they got more money per episode of each show, the longer it runs. The deal is believed to cover up to the 2014/5 season, so shows beginning next year require renegotiation and a whole new deal, so the suggestion is the CW may be making hay whilst the sun is shining.

According to a Forbes article on Nikita's final 6-episode season, the Netflix deal also implies shows on the service must have a "true" ending, which is likely to be why the CW is so fond of final seasons.

That is only a good thing! Good, i am glad if that is true. Nothing worse when a series just ends with no conclusion.

Probably not. Foreign streaming rights are tricky as you have to negotiate around other broadcasters over which you have little control.

Anyway, it's a pre-existing deal that's about to expire, so if it did, they'd already been on Netflix.

Agents of shield will be renewed as they have said before it brings in a large male 18-34 audience which is apparently lucrative.

The mindy project will get a fourth season as NBC are pushing for it to get to syndication which would prob nudge FOX to agree to a finale fourth run. Mind you syndication seems to be getting lower in this day and age a few years ago it was 100. Now seems to be 88 maybe even 70 odd. I like that america is moving towards smaller episode counts.

TVD has already been renewed so this year won't be it's final season. Likely next year.

It's possible but I wouldn't bet on it - it's still a (relatively) big draw for the CW, and they have a hard time letting the better performing shows go (see Supernatural) - bar casting issues I'd imagine it'll run for a few years yet.

Lifetime UK has bought the rights to US web drama series Blue starring Julia Stiles which reportedly is her best work to date and also starring Eric Stoltz, Kathleen Quinlan with guest turns from Sarah Paulson, William Petersen and Michelle Forbes.

It premieres tonight Mon 2nd March at 10pm. 3 seasons have been made but Lifetime has bought the rights to seasons 1 and 2 consisting in total of 10 1hr episodes.

It's already won a couple of awards in the US most notably Best Directing and Best Female Performance in a Drama at the 2014 International Academy of Web Television Awards. Looks like it could be worth a watch, it seems to have its fans.

Julia stiles was on GMB the other week talking about a new show. I will check it out. I love Julia Stiles from her movies and her amazing turn in Dexter. I had no idea she had her own show. I will add that to my list.
