Once upon a time now has a new home for UK Viewers. It will be exclusive to Netflix now.

I've watched first 4 EPs of season 4. Been good so far.

It's one of those lazy buzzwords tacked on to titles to boost ratings, like "extreme" or "benefits".

Gutted to hear that Hart Of Dixie is cancelled. It was such a light hearted fun show to watch.

The channel History UK has bought the rights to Starz's US pirate drama show Black Sails. Its 8-episode first season will premiere on History UK later this year.

I'm fairly certain those are second run rights, and it premiered on Amaon Prime Instant Video. It's definitely already available on DVD and BD...

Oh ok, i didn't know that. Well in that case it'll be available for anyone to watch who doesn't have Amazon Prime.

I think it would suit Watch.

I've heard vague murmurings about legal action from the writer of My Life as a White Trash Zombie, but there's nothing online about it, so it's probably just somebody saying the two are similar.

If it is true, Warner Bros. might wait before selling the rights...

IZombie could be a good fit for Syfy.

New Girl renewed for a fifth season and episodes are already being filmed. I suppose they want a few in the can before Zooey has her baby.

Look a bit too female skewing for Syfy, E4 or maybe Sky Living would be the best fit...

Thanks, I was wondering how they were going to work around her pregnancy. Filming the start of season 5 immediately after the end of season 4 is certainly a way around it. I guess that’s why Fox confirmed it’s renewal so early. They were lucky the other cast were available though and not already committed to other work (often films) during the off-season.

I was under the impression TV shows often included a clause, saying that the show has to be their priority, hence all the comments about being people booking pilots in case a show doesn't get picked up. So chances are if they had booked any films, they'd had to have dropped out anyway...

Of course every contract is different, but I didn’t think it was standard for an actor/actress to have to commit to the programme being a priority for 12 months of the year, just the 9(ish) months it takes to complete a season’s worth of episodes. They are normally free to commit to other work during the summer months I believe.

Actors/Actresses film pilots in case their existing programme doesn’t return for production of another season. If it does return they are obviously committed to their existing programme and have to pull out of the pilot project.

I suspect E4 could use a good zombie show to add to their palate so i won't be surprised if they pick this up. They certainly have the demographic for it.

It would have been a good show for BBC3 as a companion for the Zombie show, and they could have also shown 'Warm Bodies' too.

Sky has picked up the rights to seasons 1 and 2 of the award-winning The Affair. Season 1 will premiere on Sky Atlantic in May. Can't wait to watch this.
