Is it just me or has there been a big push by the BBC for DW in the US?
In the past week or so, I've noticed some noise from across the pond about our dear Doctor, including
a segment on a magazine show where the presenter met the cast and crew on set (clip might have been linked on this forum) having never heard of DW before
;

some bloggers/vloggers 'discovering' the show and how they are now playing catch-up with the series (2005-present);

highest ratings being reported for DW on BBC America;

and other mentions on US TV websites and forums.
I don't know if it was to do with the fact the first two eps where US-based or whether BBC have been promoting the hell out of it!
