As dave posted in the changelog the mhegs of 2 adult channels have changed.

LCN 95 Adult Smile tv 3 mheg now says tune in at 10pm

LCN 97 Adult Party mheg now says tune in at midnight.

SO I have made this thread so we can figure out the new timeshares as there has obviously been some changes.

For LCN 97 Adult Party my best guess is they may have used the night time hours on big deal as there both licensed to square one management anyway.

Not got a clue where LCN 95 extra hours are coming from.

Saying that the last hour mucks up my guess for LCN 97 as the freeview EPG is saying its still on till then.

I reckon price-drop will finish at 10pm and Party will move from timesharing with Dave to the Big Deal slot ending at 5am or 5.30am. The latter explains why Big Deal still ends at 5am not 6am. If so the Jewellery Channel will cease at midnight. I was rather hoping CNN would get this slot 6pm-midnight. There will be a vacant 3am-7am slot once again. It looks certain that all the channels will remain on Mux C / Arq A.

Just checked and Party has been timesharing with Dave for exactly six months today.

Actually there's no reason why price-drop's hours need get trimmed. Smile TV3 can take Big Deal capacity from 10pm-5am and Party replaces smile TV3.

So one stream

0000 97 ADULT PARTY
0500 87 COMMUNITY
0800 37 price-drop tv

and the other

0500 vacant
0600 36 Create & Craft
1800 32 Big Deal (showing TJC)
2200 95 ADULT smileTV3

The 0300-0700 slot timesharing with Dave is vacant once again. Maybe CNN could move in.

But ray according to my epg bikini babes is still on party till 7am can you check urs and see what it says?

Is that even legal? I always sort of assumed the cut-off time would be 0600... or am I wrong about that?

Create & Craft now starts at 5am according to the off air caption so the old Big Deal slot gets decimated!

Regarding extending ADULT PARTY to 7am, this could be done on the one stream but it would reduce the Dave slot availability from 3am to just 5am. As there would only be 7 streams at 5am they just have to keep on going. At the moment some service will lose capacity from 10pm, so it is just a matter of waiting. My money is on Big Deal being reduced significantly.

So I would say that ones pretty cut and dry ray look like you got that right.

What you have said may come true because as the dave slot and LCN 97 is on the same MUX could they not use there old smile tv 3 slot till 5 then use 5 -7 on the dave stream? leaving only 3-5 vacant

Yes that arrangement of stream sharing was what I was trying to describe. I would be surprised if they actually did it though.

If I was doing it I would move COMMUNITY to the Dave timeshare and have PARTY running from midnight to 8am timesharing with price-drop tv. We'll see tomorrow!

I've just had a laugh at kaoline aka michael21 still ripping off my DS posts and pretending that they are his own work. Anyway it seems that Babestation themselves have confirmed that GlamourChase will be on until 5.30am and Bikini Babes until 7am, so someone needs to be awake at 5am to see what is going on. Effectively ADULT PARTY will be on from midnight to 7am, so it looks like using capacity from different slots unless COMMUNITY gets the chop or moved elsewhere (more likely). All well and good until it all needs to be unwound if Dave ever goes 24 hour for example.

So, it can be confirmed that Adult Smile TV 3 LCN 95 is on air now and Big Deal LCN 32 is off air.

Yes all as predicted. The unknown factor is what happens at 5am. There has never been a "wandering" stream before on Freeview. Normally all timeshares are compartmentalised so that it is easy to see which belongs to which.

This ADULT PARTY stream looks to be the first ever to overlap two slots. There is midnight to 5am on the price-drop tv stream and 3am-7am on the Dave stream. This PARTY stream looks like it will run from midnight to 7am. All well and good but it just hasn't happened before. Trust an erotic channel to be the first example of a particular engineering feat!

I wonder if Arqiva will sell off the 3am-5am slot in Dave downtime?

ADULT Party (LCN 97) is now on air and a timeshare with Price Drop TV is now confirmed. At 05:00, we'll see whether it still timeshares Community or as Ray says a technical first if also timesharing with Dave.

LCN97 ADULT PARTY is still on air with the same PID it started with at midnight. Daystar and COMMUNITY are still going as well. There are only 7 streams on Mux C because Create & Craft hasn't started yet. So that has been a first for Freeview, using two separate slots to form one stream, using the price-drop stream and the Dave stream combined.

Tomorrow should see Create & Craft running at this time making 8 streams in all. The Dave stream has 3am to 5am unused.

Both the off-air caption and the EPG are showing 6am for me, here at Hannington. Have they had a change of plan, or is my Humax's EPG just acting up again?

Both the LCN36 Freeview EPG and Now & Next say "Back at 5am" although the off air caption has not been changed. There is conflicting information but I doubt whether I'll be up at 5am twice in one week to see what is going on.

Not for me - and I've just checked on another receiver. The programme is called Back at 6.00am, and the programmes are only listed as starting at 6am - in the EPG and now/next. I'm on the Hannington transmitter, but I thought the muxes were the same nationwide (ignoring pre/post-DSO differences).

All the 5am references to Create & Craft have disappeared here now. So there is still a missing hour between PARTY and Create. Big Deal 2 anyone?

Although Mux C programming is universal across the UK in one channel, EIT data may not be, because it is combined with regional data from other muxes.
