Edna, Susan clash on app task
The excitement for tonight's show is getting bigger. I'm glad we didn't have to wait long for these sort of things to happen. I can still remember the whole Paloma-Laura-Sandeesh exclusivity book ordeal. I like me some drama. ![]() Quote:

Excellent - I love tasks involving pitching to REAL professionals. The wannabe Apprentices always show themselves up. And the most gobby ones are usually the worst at doing it.

Given the way The Apprentice works that "clash" will probably be a mild disaggreement and the guys team will appear to have completely c***ed it up only to win in the end

Edna's shaping up to be this year's nutter imo, that I'm in charge of the budget was hilarious last night but Melody really bugged her with the bragging at the end, if she stays there'll be a bigger showdown with Melody.

I don't much like Edna and do like Susan, but there's no getting away from it, Susan couldn't seem to explain her idea coherently. I don't blame Edna for shutting her up.

Yeah, Susan wasn't eloquent enough explaining her idea. I got what it was she was trying to say though. An app for when you're lost and you ask it "Where am I?" and it'll show you.

There is no need to steamroller and crush another person just because you are the PM for a task. |

i agree with edna, susan comes across like she needs attention, and her attempt at trying to come up with an idea on the fly was silly, it was clear that she was just taking up peoples time and didnt have anything useful to say. edna did the right thing.

I think all Edna should have said to Susan was - think about your idea, write it down in bullet points and we will come back to you when you know what you are trying to say.
You need to motivate your team, not put them down. |

I'm not a fan of Edna, but she was right to curtail what that Susan was saying, who made a right idiot of herself bumbling on about a load of nonsense.

I agree with comments here. She was rambling on and didn't seem to have any idea as to where she was going. I'm still facepalming over the 'you're you, and I'm me, does that make sense?' line. In fact, I must go watch it again

Susan was a great example of 'engage your brain before you engage your mouth'. She has no-one to blame but herself for looking like a complete bumbling fool.
I'd rather like an early exit for her. There weren't enough |

Although I'm not that keen on Edna, I'm with her on this one. If she had allowed Susan to just ramble on they would have been there for hours.

To be fair to her she had worked out that "you are you and I am me". That requires quick thinking and is almost impossible to articulate.

Susan needs to learn about expectation management..."I've got an idea, it is a brilliant idea...." yeah , right.

Edna's style of management is completely wrong and only gets everyone's back up . Susan wasn't the only person she has offended last night and the day before. She should know better as a psychologist how to talk to people .
Can you imagine if the shoe had been on the other foot and Susan had been PM and she told Edna to shut up. I bet there would be an almighty uproar. |

Susan needed to shut up. All that was coming out of her mouth was incoherent ramblings that were making her and the entire team look profoundly stupid.

When you are trying to focus and think of ideas, the last thing you need is someone blurting out random words.
Unless a "brainstorming" session is in progress which, evidently it wasn't. The lack of brains far less any signs of a storm were palpable.

I'd rather like an early exit for her. And I think she sold pretty well on the first task. I don't think she's useless, just gets a bit muddled articulating an idea on the hoof.

I hope she stays. She's so gorgeous!

Yes, she is sweet and cuddly, but I doubt that Lord Sugar is looking for a teddybear as a partner
