i agree with edna, susan comes across like she needs attention, and her attempt at trying to come up with an idea on the fly was silly, it was clear that she was just taking up peoples time and didnt have anything useful to say. edna did the right thing.

Susie is like Laura last year, the REALLY young one who wont be taken seriously by her older colleagues. Susie needs to lose the angst about being the youngest, and do her best to shout over Edna whenever she tries belittling her.

Personally, I think she will be out on the first task she loses (which might be while, as with mixed teams anything can happen).
The trailer on you´re fired didn´t exactly make her look like a grown up (let alone a business woman). Yes, she is sweet and cuddly, but I doubt that Lord Sugar is looking for a teddybear as a partner ![]() |

As I understand, at that point they only had a very short amount of time to come up with an app? Basically they were running out of time.
I understand Edna's decision entirely; if I was project manager and I had a team member blubbering on, I'd shut them down too tbh! Of course, ideally, it would have been better if Edna had told Susan to think more about the idea at that point. I don't think it's necessarily Edna being arrogant or a witch! I think it was just the context of coming up with an app (and quickly). |

I suspect Susan to be taken quite aback by Edna's approach that came across as very brash and - possibly in Susan's eyes - rude as well. I don't know how much Asian cultural baggage Susan is carrying with her, but I can imagine that Edna's behaviour would have felt like a humiliation to her. |
