It's got absolutely nothing to do with the BBC or political correctness.
Let's try and work our way through this one more time.
The app was supposed to appeal to the global market. An app featuring British regional accents (plus Aussie) simply didn't appeal because people downloading apps in Kentucky, Texas, Karachi ect are not familiar with and really don't care about those accents.

Karren looks a bit different too... I think she's had veneers on her top teeth as they are much whiter than her bottom ones and they look too 'plastic'...
I really like Karren, but why do some people spoil their appearance with these fake looking whitened veneers? One of the worst I've seen is Nicola of Girls Aloud.. she has ruined her character now as her mouth has changed so much!

I think she did it after the filming of last series but before it aired.She turned up on You're Fired and the occupants of Mazzy Towers sat for some minutes trying to figure out what was 'wrong' with the way she looked. Sadly, I really don't think the veneers have been a positive change - the whole shape of her mouth has been altered.
