Jim Appreciation Thread
To start off I'm straight male. However my girlfriend commented she quite liked him, not for looks but in other ways. Don't know what that says about me.
Anyway I like him. I think he's cool. Discuss. |

He's my fav so far, hard working, fearless and a fighter. I fear he may be peaking too soon.

I didn't like the way he acted in the boardroom, made Leon change his decision then when he changed it to Glenn and Glenn asked him what he though he said 'it's the PMs decision'

He comes across as very competent in the Boardroom. I will be very surprised if he is not in the final or at least the final 5.

Had me in a fit of laughter when he had them sweating and asking him who Leon should bring back to the boardroom.
Jim and Edna are my favourites. |

Yup I like Jim, not sure where the "vile" and"repulsive" comments are coming from. He seems very capable, a good leader and someone who can dig you out of a hole in a crisis.

Good on him for what he did tonight, always worth a try, and with a wishy-washy PM it worked!
But his face in the boardroom at times DOES remind me of Beaker in the Muppets http://www.flickr.com/photos/tanhouse/1279289665/ |

Only the second candidate in the history of The Apprentice from NI so I'm biased but I think he's fab. Wouldn't like to meet him (bit cocky and scary) but am seriously considering heading down the bookies tomorrow to bet on him winning. Considering he's related to Barney Eastwood I would think the odds in Irish bookmakers aren't going to be high.
Loved the fact that he got a lot of attention on You're Fired tonight. |

Jim is playing the game well and I like his no-nonsense personality. And like I said, he was absolutely hilarious tonight. |

Looks a good bit older than a lot of them, so he is Dad I think as there no chance they will bring him into the boardroom for a while

Jim Eastwood is the man! Cooler than his brother, Clint Eastwood. I hope Jim follows his brother and goes into acting.

Me too. By the end of the series Lord Sugar will probably be asking Jim who he should fire.

I'm backing him - I know him and said before the show started that I reckon he will win it - just from knowing what sort of guy he is.... wish I had of put money on it but I reckon I could still maybe do that - tho think he's favourite so probably bit too late.

Even at this early stage, it looks like the only way Jim won't reach the latter stages will be if he makes a monumental cock-up that I really am not expecting. He seems to have the measure of his competitors, at this stage.
Very cool and together. Impressive. |

I thought Jim was excellent in this weeks show. Not only was there his cool head in the boardroom and getting the PM to change his mind about bringing him back , he also stepped up to the mark and helped the other one out when he dried up giving his pitch. He will go far IMHO.

I want to join the Jedi Jim fanclub. I loved him in the first task, and that boardroom scene was FABULOUS !
![]() I think Lord Sugar should hire him now! I cant wait to see him as Project Manager.
