How rude. If you are implying he had learning difficulties so what? At least he has a job. |

Not funny, just to the point....I always have great simplify for Family's and Medical stuff who have to deal with the Fall Out of attempted suicides.....and even the Poor Train Drives, who for some, never get over...when someone jumps in front of there Train.
So he's wasting his time going to rehab and trying to get his life back together, then. |

The German doctor had me laughing out loud
"I've learnt from the nurses that I have to say, when there is an injection: "I am sorry, please be brave, this will hurt a bit...". In Germany it would be: "Doctor, will this hurt? - Yes". ![]() Oh, he just mentioned the war! |

Stuart to camera: “I like to live life on the edge. That’s the way I am. I don’t feel I’m living unless I’m in danger.”
[Cut to Stuart when he was brought in] [Groaning] [To girlfriend} “Don’t tell me mum. She’ll only worry.” Stuart: How far did I fall from?” GF: 40 feet. GF to Camera: “ I can describe Stuart in one word – stupid”. |

![]() ![]() This programme is excellent, the doctors and nurses and other staff giving their views of their patients and the highs and lows of the job is very interesting. Hope there are more of the same in the C4 pipeline.

Great stuff again so far (30 minutes in), nice range of characters, as usual.
Yerman, the skater talking to his leg ![]() Ooh Amanda, fancy her even more now. She looked drained in both senses after the heart attack case. Kevin strikes me as one of life's naturally hyper people, you'd have to tie him down to stop him dashing about. Never thought about English manners when it comes to medical matters, 'please, darling' and couching things in different ways 'will it hurt, Yes' not being the 'correct' answer. It's all in the edit. |

Oh no, one more episode left
![]() Poor Ted I was rooting for him to get a bit more time. Such a nice man with such a nice wife. Life can be cruel, that poor family knows. The only negative in this episode was the skateboarder. Annoying as hell. |

Just got to the end of the recording and Ted's demise.
Noted the German Doctors comment the more pain they're in, the less the moan and the less 'finesse' they require 'do what you need to do Doctor' |

What a lovely man Ted seemed to be - and his wife seemed equally lovely, my husband and I were joking about how that was going to be us someday. Was thinking about the show and the different things we the viewer can take from it, and what the people who participate in the show can take from it and Ted is a great example - in his life I'm sure he touched many lives but had he not been on the show in death maybe a few hundred would have known of what a lovely gentleman he was. Now thousands if not millions know. He's touched the lives of so many and I'm sure he never would have believed it had you told him. RIP Ted and lots of love to his wife (feeling a bit teary at 3:30am)

Kevin can destroy the ozone layer with the amount of body spray he was spraying up and around his t-shirt
He would drive me insane being around him for very long What a lovely couple Ted and his wife were, I was willing him to get better when his wife was talking at the end I got very tearful and thought Aw bless her |

What was Kevin going to be like after drinking a Red Bull that the nurse was buying him?
Is this the first time a featured person has died? I was thinking he looks bad but he will appear at the end like the other programmes, very sad RIP Ted. I was shocked his doctor sent him to A & E to get him a bed didn`t seem right, he was basically passing away on that trolley |

Yes if I remember right that old lady had her husband Derek with her
Again it was very sad to see her other half left on his own Very moving to see the reactions of Maria and Amanda last night The German doctor's view of things give last night's show a different angle I couldn't help myself but turned to my wife straight away and said "he just had to mention the war" |

Ummmm where did I mention him not having a job? Think you perhaps need to lighten up a little and accept a tongue in cheek comment love.
As for the programme itself, it's one of the best documentries on tv at the moment.

Such a wonderful programme. I came to it quite late but reading the posts on here I have caught up online. Shame it's ending next week. |

Ted was under the impression it was the recurrence of a complaint he'd had before and they'd 'fixed' I seemed like Maria thought the same thing and regretted not going up to see him, thinking he was on the mend. You lot have just reminded me of Derek and his wife, well mostly Derek. Lot of positives to be taken from this program, and I say that as a misanthrope. |
